used this phone for almost 3 months now, i bought it on launch day itself at 1099, no discounts but this is by far the most value for money phone ever, even at 1099 its a steal, and seeing so many ppl here bought it for less than 800 makes me very jealous, haha, some even got it for 633, really cannot find any phone with this specs at below 1k and with pure android for a smooth experience. not to mention the awesome build quality and always trick ppl that im using an iphone , 10/10 from me

QUOTE(iymm @ Jan 1 2018, 03:45 AM) Yes...a lots of complain at there about missing features/bugs.... For me same as before, 53% still need 50+minutes to full... 20% to 53% need 35minutes, so if sum up all the time, it need at least 1hours 50min to finish I think this "Charging rapidly" is pointless, because I try using 5V 1.25A charger also showing "Charging rapidly" did u use qc 2 or 3 charger? the charging rapidly might be a bug, but charging time might be improved

sad that mi a1 no quick charge, at least give some quick charge for the phone, full charge in 1.5 hours is too long, even 50% charge is taking very long time i used to own mi 5 (which comes with a qc 2 charger), it have the same battery capacity as mi a1 (3k mAH battery), the qc is awesome, full charge in less than 1 hour, and 30 mins charge can give 60% batt life, 1 minute charge 2%. if mi a1 charge as fast as that then would be awesome

QUOTE(makky @ Jan 1 2018, 03:33 PM) Oreo update bring QC leh... nope, that is not QC, it only reduce the charging time from 2 hours to 1.5++ hours, this is not QC level of charging, QC is full charge in 1 hour or less, i used to own a QC phone so i know how fast is QC

i did notice an improvement in batt life for android O on this phone, getting like 1 hour more on screen time
but the battery optimization is too restrictive, i dont get msg notification sometimes (whatsapp, messenger etc), need to unlock the phone oni the phone will get the message updates

QUOTE(brohsem @ Jan 3 2018, 01:22 PM) Me also like this, dont know why..sometimes need to open whatsapp app first, then can receive new msg notification its the battery optimizing feature, background apps are limited or disabled when the phone is idle, but i cant find the option to disable it

QUOTE(Emo_Boy @ Jan 3 2018, 01:38 PM) weak data cellular always with 3bars only so true, and it gets worse when you are indoors QUOTE(mimi_lk @ Jan 3 2018, 01:43 PM) Settings > Battery > Battery optimisation (3 dots on top right) Choose "All apps" in the drop-down menu and then select the app you want to have enabled, select "Don't optimise" and you're done. thanks
