I think the most important feature of this A1 is it's software.

The weakness of Xiaomi previously is its MIUI and software updates.

With this A1, you got pure android plus updates until Android P.

So did anyone pre ordered?

I just tried hands on at Penang Queensbay Mall.

I feel the camera is so so only. Tried recording 4k, but due to no EIS/OIS, very shaky (blame my hands )

Build quality is amazing, screen I compared with RN4 I feel MiA1 screen quality is better.

For this price, it's value for money for its pure vanilla android experience. Don't hope too much for the camera department.

Quite good actually.

If you drain until 5% battery you easily can get around 6-7 hours SOT, which is great for a 3k battery. Thanks to its SD 625 and stock Android.

Hopefully the next version of MiA1 gives us fast charging and OIS, then it's a killer.

In my opinion this looks great!

I was looking through the MI Malaysia Facebook page MIA1 Photo competition and saw some photos taken by the MiA1.

Gotta say, for a phone this price, the quality of the photos taken are amazing and really good.

I am not sure why online reviews say the camera quality is sub par, but really, it looks amazing to me.

Edit: Some would say the best camera is the photographer, but seriously, go and have a look at their fb page. It's not only a few, but so many great photos taken there.

Between Mi A1 and RN4, I read that better choice would be Mi A1 right? Though battery capacity is smaller.
