Anyone know how to get rid of the Google assistant and get back the Google now which long press the home button straight give u search thing instead of through noobie Google assistant, Google assistant is really unnecessary to me.

I try to untick this one, but it still Google assistant pop out after long press home button.

Is the "OK Google" voice command works when A1 is in deep sleep/stand-by mode...?

"OK Google" voice command is very handy and powerful...start using it now and you'll be glad to have stock Pixel-like device ...



Unfortunately, for MiA1, Google Voice command can't wake up from standby or deep sleep mode. So, still need to have the phone wake-up manually. This is where Pixel is better than Android One.

We can root the device and cook Pixel ROM....
