the only problem i have is the screen
5.5 too big for me
now using 5 inch
compare mi6 with A1
mi6 phone smaller but way more expensive
*
the form factor of MiA1 is just like iPhone Plus series. the huge forehead and chin. I was coming from iPhone5s and just need few hours to get used to it.

Guys, is there any way to unlock the phone with just fingerprint? All i see is combo method with either pin/pattern/password
*
u have to set one PIN/pattern/password before you register your fingerprint for failsafe reason such as you accidentally hurt your finger and unable to use your finger to unlock your phone. after you have registered your fingerprint, you are good to go unlock your phone with fingerprint all the way except every first time after you restart your phone.

Any idea how do I transfer files from my PC to the A1 using the cable?

I plug it in and the usual Charge this device came up. I select transfer files and nothing happens. The other options (Transfer photos, use device as MIDI) works though.

The reason is I keep some documents in my phone so that whenever I need them, I can just open it using my phone.

Edit:
Found this in my Windows. Is this the reason why it doesn't show up on windows explorer?

Edit 2:
Nevermind. Switched on USB debugging and all the drivers start installing.
*
"I plug it in and the usual Charge this device came up. I select transfer files" this part correct. next is just open up your "My Computer" on you pc or laptop, you should see MiA1 there under removable drive

Of course I'm refering to Mi A1. Because i led to believe 3gb ram/32gb is the ori variant.
*
there's only one variant of MiA1 which is 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM in Malaysia..

than how?
the camera no good
better buy mi6?
*
honestly, the selling point of MiA1 is not camera but the pure Android experience in it. if you looking for better camera experience, there are a lot choices out there in the market.
but for daily point and shoot, MiA1 camera still can handle well.. you may search back this thread and you will find few photo sample posted by our member.. cheers.. icon_rolleyes.gif

mine okay.. if you cover by finger.. probably take some time and u need to keep operate the phone, best is try it when playing youtube video.. if u bring the phone into darker room, it change very fast.. and do make sure you have turned on adaptive brightness..
