How to check for warranty? Cant verify the warranty of this phone bought from lazada. Shown as malaysia.set but instead got a global set with 2 pin.

Using imei also failed
*
Global set = Malaysia set

There is no "Malaysia" set as far as I know.

GPS should work even without SIM card. Nothing that telco can do to help your GPS.
*
If they use the "High Accuracy" setting in the Location setting, then it will dependent on the cellular network.

I wonder if it is due to the coverage of umobile... I'm using maxis, so far no problem with the GPS.

SD801 is power hog. My OPO also does the same. Same capacity but cannot compete with Mi A1 battery life.

28nm vs 14nm...

sold my lazada 1212 mi a1 already. decide not gonna use it. after sell, i ask buyer to see2 phone settings. walao..i glad i sell it. i liked miui customization better. however, stock android really feels nice. if google made stock android user exp better on 1st boot, it would boost their os likeability. they need to streamlined their settings menu more. if i didn't come here, i wouldn't know System UI Tuner at all. vmad.gif
*
I think they streamlined too much until nothing left. sweat.gif laugh.gif And the system UI tuner actually very limited.

The good thing of stock android is that all the android features will be available.

to me, mi a1 is just nice for me for that price.
the only gripe is that , the camera has no stabilisation when taking photo.

Even more expensive phone don't have OIS. sweat.gif

Time to rejoice, my fellow A1 frens ...

Fast charging introduced in Oreo update
*
I'm kinda skeptical on this... is Dash Charging compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charging? hmm.gif

Hi, noob question.

Do u guys put apps like FB, IG, Telegram on SD CARD (not in internal storage) ?
My apps sometimes not detected, not sure if the phone or the memory card, its just "grey~ish icon"...if put on internal storage, does it effect with the ram or perf (?)  sweat.gif

I just bought the memory card, takkan da rosak  sad.gif
*
Why move the apps to sd card when internal storage should be sufficient? I don't think SD card are reliable enough to run apps. (ok to store photo/movie only)
