Normal case when window 10 startup
press power button - - > Asus logo appear - - >loading icon spinning under Asus logo - - > login screen

Happen once awhile (Weird case)
press power button - - > Asus logo appear - - > black screen for 3 to 5 seconds (fan and led still running) - - >auto restart- - > Asus logo appear - - > system messages appear under Asus logo (Press any key to skip disc checking) - - >dics checking: scanning and repairing drive( system partition?/100%) - - > login screen

Anyone facing this kind of issue before??

happened to 2 of my machines-a Precision and an old Asus desktop, windows 1703, i just let it do the scanning and if it happens again on the next boot i do disk scan on the C drive and it went away.

1. If roll back to previous Windows
2. If HDD about to breakdown
3. If Bios upgrade is corrupted

That was my experience, i don't think it is a Windows issue.

This happens to me if I set up my OC profile wrong, however mine only stuck on auto restart loop until I adjust the profile in bios

Problem solve, is due to the window 10 function that help speed up booting speed. This function sometimes will clash with ssd.
