if they let kobe go they loose a great franchise player and must rebuild from scratch... wut worse is they looses fans as well... |

wow carter leaving nets?
that's kinda bad for nets and carter was actually kinda happy at nets... was thinking he would be staying put at nets... nets already lack good centers and finisher... and carter kinda slacked a little.... |

so far best fair i've seen is dirk and nash...
their combo plays realy eye catching... sad that nash left mavs though... i think end of the day KG would stay at timberwolves... only trade in the 2nd trade window... dirk like duncan are realyl good in center but not a 100% center... they have somethign that most centers dun have like shooting skills... ya kidd old d T.T really great balance player... love the game of nets vs suns where nash and kidd went 1 on 1 last season... |

QUOTE(Rowan23 @ Jul 5 2007, 10:54 PM) best combo?...pulling out MJ with Pippen, i would say it must be Stockton and Malone...srsly the best 1-2 punch in the NBA....or a good guard, it would be Kidd in his prime...he can make players around him good as well.... wut i really meant was that they are both similiar in having something mroe than ordinary centers...Duncan and Dirk's game are not really similar...Duncan is possibly the more inside player, while Dirk is the more mid-range and long-range jumper type of forward...of course you mustn't count out that Duncan could also shoot mid-range jump shots....and if you see closely, Duncan's footwork inside is better than Dirk's. Dirk is usually the post then run and a shot, Duncan is usually the post, take it inside and score, or juz pass it out to avoid the double team... duncan dun satrt as center but plays towrs center when manu subs in... wow hill to phoenix would be scary... |

this is due his failure to inspire the team...
look at james and how he manage to inspire cleveland to who they are now... kidd and nets? look at toronto... great players know the importance of a good team and how to make them perform better... if he keeps on ranting the team morale will no doubt be low... ya still in western... i watch most of the lakers game and kobe jz go all out on his own making tough jumpers and drives which fails... in a 1 man team every1 would be guarding u and making it harder and i dun really see him using the team... he even do jumpers in double teams lol... btw wonder how will heat perform next season... wade's jumpers are the best in the league when they won the title... |

QUOTE(-= Virgil =- @ Jul 11 2007, 11:02 PM) Kobe is a senior to James and yet James is less self-centered compared to Kobe, moreover, he is almost like a complete opposite of Kobe. James motivate the team yet Kobe command his team. James doesnt take all the shots and lean on his team but Kobe take all the shots.... during palyoffs james did really well (except the finals) where he dun just take all the shots but ratehr set ups for his team...I am not sure if it is just me, but i find this a bit hillarious to me. Still LeBron is doing something good under the spotlight and he might just be the best example of how a NBA player should behave. ego players are meant to be hated lol... just like i hated marbury last tiem for claiming best pointguard in east when kidd is around lol... hill will mostly be sub as suns already ahve a formiable first squad... |
