My 2 cents after playing 18 beta (also on the old thread)
 - Gameplay so far is slow (dont really like it, but apparently beta is usually slow) - Shooting is different which is good but low driven kinda still works but not all the time - Pack animation is going to be annoying, basically 83+ will have those screens at the side and walkouts will have that and the walkout. - In kick off mode the crowd is very realistic and like certain teams have certain crowd animations, Madrid have the crowd signing to their "anthem of some sort" at the start of the match, and after every goal they will kinda show like angle showing the fans and they look real and some will be wearing the jerseys some just wearing coats or something else which is realistic. - SBCs look like the same except some have that fixed block thing - Loads of objectives (starting, daily and weekly) - Squad battles is going to take up a lot of the time during the week as it has tiers like WL but its based on percentage so top 3% get Elite 1 and 100% get Bronze 3 and they will update the ranks as people play more and more matches. The rewards dont seem great but for people who cant enter WL this is a good game mode to get rewards. - There is a way to make quick subs (i would assume most of you know of this feature) and if you havent picked players that you would sub at the start of the match, the game will give suggestions. - You can see player stats (like futhead stats) from the player bio - Not a big fan of card designs of normal cards but special cards look good - Not a fan of the soundtrack (but i am gonna mute it anyway when the game releases) - Love the fact that kits dont really look washed out anymore (in 17 some kits look washed out, especially black kits) - Skill moves feel nerfed which is really annoying. - Player celebrations have been tweaked (dabbing now involves one of your team mate but he does a retarded version, Ronaldo celebration now you can hear him say SIII, most celebrations feel shorter which is good, annoying celebrations like shushing and the double arm swinging dont look as rage inducing anymore) - WL and DKT format so far looks the same. |

FIFA 18 demo finish download at 2am hahaha.
I played FIFA 18 at PSX malaysia this year, and in the demo it looks like it has been more polished than the one showed at PSX malaysia. Somehow I really like the control for FIFA18, feels more solid and responsive. And for the journey, I can't wait to continue the story of Alex Hunter  |

quick review about the demo...
Presentation 1. Stunning! Interface/Navigation 1. No sign of laggish, compared to F17. Maybe there's limited menus, but only able to determine when the game full releases. Gameplay A. Build up play - More passing required, predict that possession play will dominate, if your play like is more on this, then you may enjoy it. - Movement is more like PES, dribbling, etc is way different than F17 B. Finishing - Kinda hard especially 1-1, I miss with CR7 with 2 bars of power shot. However practice is required - Corner is pretty hard to defend, Legendary AI able to score the header on the 90th min, with my 2 defenders guarding, even I pressed O (clear) when the ball is in the air. It seems not registering. C. Attacking - Through ball from LB/RB/CM into the LW/RW is very effective - Through ball from outside the box, into the box is not effective, same as F17, even with slighted power, ball goes to keeper - Skill moves like ball roll will be effective. Berba spin not effective. I'm not of a much skiller as I seldom use it. Need to adopt this in order to be a better player D. Defending - Able to charge up the tacking power (by holding the O button) - good feature - Do not commit into every tackle, once you missed, you fucked up - Containing is not very effective, they just follow your opponent, you had to manually press tackle try to win the ball, whereby F17, contain will follow, and AI will help you win the ball automatically. Overall the gameplay is ok IMO, but just EA's pattern, patches will be coming from time to time, it will creating more shits than ever. Hopefully no patches into the gameplay, just cosmetic patches will do. |

Hi is the icon version worth it ?I already pre order the physical copy(can sell after bored ) standard version from gamers hideout for 199 and ready to spend rm200 fifa point .Thinking whether want to cancel it and order the digital icon version for 329

Idk if its even worth spending on FP because everyone can get packs from Squad Battles or Weekend League. |

Never really invest in FP before and now with Squad Battles rewards more unlikely.
Yesterday got to play few matches, feels a bit slow maybe need tweak a bit in setting. Btw, when do we will get the special kit and loan ronaldo? 29th? |

probably because in seasons u can't choose your opponent. while in fut u can reject if the opponent got poor line

But i cant find any opponents in online games , in ALL modes. Seasons , FUT Draft , Knockout tournament. Is it locked till the 29th ? Or my connection problem ? |

Btw , i noticed ppl sapu all Lukakus in the market , all normal gold ones have been bought at 250k max bid once its posted for a few mins. Any idea why ? How will they make profit that way ? Gambling on SBCs ? I'm total noob in transfer market |

For those who facing unable to unlock transfer market on web/companion app.
I suggest you guys play more online games instead of single player (squad battles/single player division) For online, try to play online seasons, start from div 10 promote to div 8 at least..or maybe play some DKT games.. Reason is that you need to play online so that your club able to sync with EA server then you're able to unlock... I faced this issue also, after play more online games, it's fine.. If still happens, contact EA live chat |

got Elite 2 in SB. I managed to get Elite 1 before the weekend, only got to play some matches only on sunday.
Once you got elite 1, it's very hard to maintain in the same position, you had to play everyday to maintain. |

Anyone realize this year's fifa is like Liverpool games every game? I used to defend decently in fut 17, these days I need to outscore my opponent. Wtf. Games are at minimum 4-3 above..

Prime SBC for Adp, rui Costa and over Mars is out. The SBC requirements are crazy expensive. Might as well buy straight from the market lol

WL in fifa 18 compared with fifa 17 is very huge.
Played 5 games only won 1. Particularly opponents played so well while their squads are so high rated and have icons on it. |

Would have qualified to div 5...score goal at 85min to lead...then opponent attack my defender clear the ball straight to opponent and he shoot straight pass oblak to tie the game last minute...stupid eaidsss

Talking bout weekend league...a few times i play the daily tournament, 4 green bars but still got spike...and after spike the game speeds up on its own and sometimes i conceed becoz of that becoz i cant control my players in a short time.
.how come its different from seasons one like when it lags at least it doesnt speed up after that... Server different i guess? |

This ranking system is so stressful to play with. Have to play so many games during the weekend to maintain your rank. Anyway i just realize there is no chance of getting into the top 100 by playing legendary mode. I won all my legendary game this week with huge score differences but only managed to grab 2.5k++ points for each game. Guess its time to stop SB :/

Please give some suggestion on squad improvement guys. As u can see i only able to afford 2 max 50k player.

This is just my observation.
Last night, my points for SB is around 30K after 9 games (4+1(Featured Squad) on monday and 4 on tuesday). Difficulty : All Legendary. I check the Top 100 (Rank 100) the point is around 33K+. So, in order to break into Top 100, if you are playing Legendary, you must win with 5 goals plus 400++ for skill points to get around 2.6K ~ 2.7K++ points. After watching AA9skillz played Ultimate difficulty with score 4-2, he able to get 2.7K points but of course if and only if you can beat Ultimate difficulty. OR maybe you can play 2 Legendary + 2 Ultimate to get into Top 100 with roughly 2.7K points for each game. Sekian, that is my conclusion. P/S : I was able to get 2.8K points on Legendary difficulty with 8-0 goals with the team that lowest rating and chem. Once you lead the game around 5-0@4-0, try to play more skill moves like ball roulette, berba spin and just simple skill moves enough. Sick pull today from the marquee matchup sbc
… really shocked when POGBA came out… never been so lucky before , last year fifa17 best pull only IF Eriksen… haha now dunno want to sell or keep… market price now 500k++… Btw for those have trouble with sb i just figure out to change the controller setting defending to LEGACY DEFENDING really help alot in defending… the player just run for the ball instead of marking the player… manage to win the ball even in legendary... but not suitable to use against human player i think.. |

Didn't get time to play SB last week. Anyway I'm really having fun opening pack in this version of Fifa, that strike rate is much higher (maybe more card selections now?) - opened 6 x 7,500 packs + 1 pre-order free pack yesterday & this morning - got IF Sarabia and IF Mandanda, nothing spectacular but got the pack money back.
Going to try my luck again next week, this week can spend some time on SB. |
