using GX30 from day 1,.. so far am a bit impressed with umobile this second round,.. it seems like a few placesin penang island signal and coverages improve,..lantency is 25~39ms as loading my wechat games quite smooth , connection is 2.7~3.5Mbps all time no matter in 3G or 4G,..watching fb video or fb live video is all smooth too,.. youtube is auot 360p which is fine for my phone usages for sure,  using a 4G phone LTE Cat 4 150Mbps phone,.. consider is a bang for buck

1 more issue very annoying, sometime my data 4g change to H+.. It won't automatically change back to 4g even the area is 4g. I need airplane mode to revert back. 🙄🙄🙄

Did that. Called u mobile. Said my 4G is active. Problem is, I cannot lock to 4G in full coverage area. It will drop to 3G during calls, and will stay until I reset the network. Never encounter this problem with Maxis and digi.

Im a student currently residing in Ipoh, Im planning on changing to umobile for unlimited quota but im confused whether GX50 or P99.

I researched that both of them even titled UNLIMITED but is actually capped all over , as of now i know that youtube is capped 480p , torrent capped heavily apps are 1.5MB if there are more please enlighten me. (Are direct downloads capped too?)

As for usage, i play online games, download shows (torrent) and watch youtube  , all of this are usually on my laptop, since the plans hv quotas on hotspot ill try to change up my usage(like watching videos and download on mobile) but mainly i do those on my laptop.

Now, the problem is, thanks to the caps, the only difference i can see are the price and hotspot.

So based on my usage and problem, can you all please suggest me which is the most suitable plan? Sincere thank is advance to you all.

So does this gx30 prepaid unlimited has cap or not? Means i can go streaming, gaming and downloading without limit as long as the speed is kept at max 3mbps? Or if i hit the bandwidth cap the speed will be cut down to 64kbps something like that? As ppl always said, unlimited is not truly unlimited at all. Tq
