i think his TV is positioned that way because of the height of the rack....

my TV's bottom edge is about 85cm off the ground....this is because of position of the bookshelf speakers sitting on the shelf. but my TV is slightly angled downward....

htkaki......your draper also starting to show the V wave....hopefully its not so obvious when you're enjoying your movies.

i've just spoke to the guy in the store who sold me the draper.....to bring it in for an exchange...hehe...he also advised.....wait till just before the warranty expire....then exchange for a new one..

dont have the luxury of space for bigger ones.....the 685 are probably the biggest i can use....actually the 685 is a bit tall....my screen comes down to exactly that height.

those cables at the back still annoy me.

didnt quite get what you're saying.....hook it up to amp/tv...you mean the WDTV hook it up to amp/tv? isnt that what it is suppose to do?

anyway, all those things you see in the pictures are hooked on to the receiver...all audio+visual are via the receiver.

you wrote ".i wouldnt be bothered with wdtv...it doesnt stream does it?"

so I replied by ask you to hook the WDTV direct to amp/tv (no need any streaming in WD's case).. , .

both media players you see there has internal HDD in 'em....streaming ability is an extra feature...a nice feature. like i said....dont think i need a 3rd one...which i think lacks of quite a number of features

for PS3, you need to set it to LPCM to get HD audio.

is it truly a hardware limitation?

i would think its more complicated to do the decoding onboard rather than passing the raw material and let the AVR do the dirty work
