wow.... not bad but should get a better racking so u can safe a lot of space  nod.gif
*
The height of the TV is limiting the rack + equipments ... tat's y have to put it low.
Not easy to look for low-height type rack to accomodate, so i have to temporary use that 1st

Recently visited some VIP's home and saw some unbelievable setups
Sorry for not able to disclose name and post pix for their privacy.

Krell power amps from model 300 to 600 (i forgot how many numbers there - minimum 13 above)
Samsung 9 series 55"(at least 2 / 3 nos) just for CCTV and Astro only
Optoma HD81-LV & another (dun know what model) projector (at least 2 nos)
Morel center speakers (2 nos with around 10 speakers + tweeters per pc) - just put in store room)
ATC active speakers for surround (at least 5 nos)
ATC BIG passive bookshelf speakers (2 used as center - powered by 2 individual Krell power amp) & (another 2 used as front surround)
Custom-made side speaker enclosure with around 10nos of ATC drivers x 4 nos
Mirage floorstand - put aside no use - probably spare
Speaker cables only = easily exceeded RM200k - RM300k (MIT shogun with few boxes - so many pairs laying around)
HDMI - Kimber Kable, Wireworld, Van Den Hul ... all hi-end or reference series
Power cords = as thick as can drinks = few
CD players = Krell
Media Servers = dun know what brand but cost more than RM 15k
Mark Levinson ... Krell Pre-Amp ... Jadis Tube Integrated (size approx. 2' x 3' in size) ... Utopia Floorstand ... AudioQuest speaker & power cord (as spare cables only) ... Marantz SR8003 ... Mark Levinson AV processors ... blah blah ... blah blah ...
And so much more which i can't remember ...
The mini theater alone can fill at least 40 ppl

Nice, hifi and av in the same room. Mind to elaborate ur stuff? How do you find stacking a pair of bookshelf on top of another? The top for av i assume?
*
Yup, since i'm short of space and speaker stands, so gotta temporary put the Usher S-520 (AV) on top of my Dynaudio Aud.52 (Stereo-HiFi)

Just use carpets, posters, cabinets, etc... to fill up empty walls and floor.

Actually, those egg crates meant to diffuse sound waves to avoid it from bouncing to so many surfaces, less boomy and also minus lil bit of sound volume to exterior.
One thing very obvious is, sound more focus,
I used egg-crates and wave-foam combination ... it doesn't wirk wonders, but its the cheapest way.
Decent hifi-stereo sound needs room for sound to travel and balance reflections to create good sound staging, merely covering walls and flrs not a wise options (my personal experience)

My initial intention is to reduce sound from protruding out, afraid disturb neighbours. Then when i listen to my hifi, i notice the music has became more and more focus and improved sound staging and imaging, thus my sound treatment has became useful for both use.
I know this is a NON-professional way of doing, however i felt that's all i can do and all that i afford too

Port Mean d speaker hold, when u turn loud can feel air come out from there..
If too close to wall will make d sound not focus n booming... tongue.gif
*
You mean the " hole "
Distance is needed for it to 'breathe' and its also needed to 'bounce' / reflect

You have to test hear and feel it yourself ... its a matter or your own taste.
Try with different distances and decide which / how u like your bass to be

How you guys stick the absorption foam on the wall?
Double sided tape?

I stumbled upon this which the owner is using a tube bass trap for the corners.
Very nice system.
