cost way more than PC speakers

btw, even if you can hook up the HTIB into your PC, with the soundcard you using, you cant utilize the surround at all
and heck,it wont sound as good as a pair of normal 2.1 PC speakers IMHO

i will suggest 2.1 speakers actually

you using X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro Series sound card, which would not support 5.1 sound system

if you buy a 5.1 sound system, all will only output the same sound, won't have any surround effect

his sc shd be able to suport 5.1 wat since it has the SPDIF digital out..hook an optical/coaxial cable to the 5.1 multimedia speakers like the z5500 shd be able to enjoy the surround sound..but for creative the I/O module need to buy seperately.. if u lz to find the I/O module just change to other sc tat has the coaxial/digital output..

Yes i know, the surround speaker (speaker stand) should be far from TV according to manual, to produce surround sound. But just curios why i always saw many setup placed the surround speaker beside the TV??
