emm.....their old model of satelite spk does come with built in amp in the sub.That's mean u dun have to buy any external amp,just connect ur DVD player to the sub and hula,a HT is set up.

htkaki,nice set up there, the "black cloth" behind the screen should improve the PQ a lot.From what i expereince,ur front equipments on top esp white PS3 and Yamaha 1800 could reflex some lighting which would make the image a bit "grey" instead of pure black,can u confirm that ? I'm saying this becos my set up,the laminated wooden floor really reflex the light a lot,now thinking of getting some dark colour carpet to place on the floor,hopefully can help a bit.

BTW,ur Klipsch front spk and new 12" sub i love very much

my screen is about 2" away from my laminated floor but still can see the reflection,time to change flooring?

timothyy,among the 3 brands u mentioned,i love Klipsch and JBL more. Klipsch really cant forget the power of its BASS.JBL if AV series more like all rounder.Recently saw a pair of JBL LS80 special edition retail at arround 20k,rosewood finish floor stander with horn driver,dun dare to try cos never had budget to buy yet

browsed future shop and quite interested with the subwoofer and HDMI cable.

Read from previous posts stated HDMI cable is just the same,not really matter it's expensive or just normal type cos they just carry Digital signal,what u guys think? What about subwoofer cable? Saw the QED esp the mini type very attractive,does it make any diff compare to normal type cost below RM100? Anybody expereinced with QED QONTOUR MP-SW Subwoofer Cable or QED Performance Mini Subwoofer Cable ?

ok,so for those who use the branded cable like QED,did u hear "clear" different then ur previous non-brand cable?

ok,just try to buy some cable from future shop with a total amt of arr $80 pound.The shipping cost is way too high arr $65 pound ( only choose from "1st Class " or "FedEx" ),almost same value as the items

so i try to get more cable,make it over 99 pound for "free shipping" this time.I get total of $104 pound,shipping cost about $81 pound this time

Any cheaper option for shipping? Pls advice

mpyw is correct,it depends on weight,i just ordered few cables,shipping cost $15.99 for items total amt $ 58 pound,which is >35% of the item cost....*(&^%$#
