QUOTE(derthvadar @ Mar 24 2018, 03:19 PM) They promote the Ambs plan like no tomorrow. Everyone can join. So sudah takda special lagi. No wonder they reduce the benefits. Smh. Digi never meant the Ambassador plans to be a main part of their business. It was really a favour for Digi insiders originally. Too many people in this forum act as if Digi owes them cheap cheap Ambassador plans. Those of you who are on Ambassador plans should just be grateful you've been granted the privilege. It's not as if you are forced to take up the plans. You can walk away any time you want.

QUOTE(piCube @ Apr 3 2018, 02:13 PM) Say... last week I went to DiGi Store Express and they told me that on top the Internet Sharing fee which is RM10, there's additional charge of RM10 ringgit if I take gadget sim/internet only sim? Is that true? I'm currently subscribed to Ambassador 68 plan. They said that I need to pay 68 + 20 for internet sharing. I used to subscribe to Gadget SIM but I cancelled it and subscribed to Vibe 200 on TuneTalk instead. For slightly less a month (RM16.67) I now get 20GB extra a month of mobile internet. When you look at the alternative, Gadget SIM is not really worth it anymore.

Digi did say a few months ago they're focusing on Postpaid and they have said in the past their most profitable area is plans with phone contracts.
I know they're a publicly listed company and need to make a profit but lately they give an impression of being obsessed with ARPU and are very "money-faced". Not a good look.

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Jul 2 2018, 07:49 PM) But the local is not talented I don't have the full detail of remuneration package of the current CEO but he's handsomely compensated too. It's just like the case with Cathay Pacific Airways. Since the airline was founded in year 1946, it never had a Chinese CEO despite being a Hong Kong based carrier until 2013. But the Chinese did a terrible job running the airline and he was finally replaced by another Englishman last year. Sorry OT again. As the CEO of a public listed company, it is his responsibility to focus on bringing the best return to the shareholders. So focusing on improving APRU is correct. However, Digi hasn't been itself since Albern Murty took over. It has largely been a follower and has been offering call plans that its network couldn't afford to offer, putting a huge burden on its network in the quest of becoming the largest telco in Malaysia by subscriber base and to improve its APRU. Digi has also been doing a lot of cost cutting too of late. For instance, it no longer offers round the clock customer service support. The hotline now works only from 6am - 1am everyday. Ridiculous. Wow, you seem to be dazzled by white people.

I used to subscribe to Gadget SIM, but then TuneTalk came up with +Vibe 200 where I paid slightly less than RM20 a month for 20GB extra. So for me, Gadget SIM is really not worth it now.

QUOTE(fairylord @ Aug 8 2018, 11:12 PM) Except it's a Broadband plan I believe as the nature of BB is to hotspot shared out. In Digital thread, someone also feedback about base data being consumed up. But a member of BB otherwise. Am 38 and Am 68 are not broadband, are they?

QUOTE(megakeygen_zero @ Aug 16 2018, 11:57 AM) Why SMS and bills sent to my email always stated that i had almost rm30++ overdue amount, but when i checked via app and pay, it's not there? Better get CS to make sure all your accounts under your IC has no outstanding debt. Last year I got the message about outstanding amount due although my main account checked out fine. It turned out that Digi had accidentally split my account into two and the hidden account didn't show up on my monthly bill statement, and was not covered by the auto-pay setup, hence the outstanding amount.

QUOTE(alfredhow78 @ Aug 26 2018, 12:49 AM) Hey guys. I am currently on 38 plan with 2gb base quota and unlimited calls and free 1gb every day. I have read that there is a new plan costs the same price but with 4gb base quota. How do i change to that plan? Cause when i try to change plan online it says "you must choose a plan different than your current plan." And when i try to call CS, they say they didn't have any plan like that... Are you looking for this one? https://new.digi.com.my/promotion/PretoPost_38

QUOTE(alfredhow78 @ Aug 26 2018, 09:22 AM) Did you actually try using the online form on this page? If really cannot, then no choice, have to convert to prepaid, probably wait 30 days, then convert to this 38 promo. In waiting 30 days, there is a big risk that this promo might disappear...

Digi should be less coy and straight up explicitly state that this Postpaid 38 promo cannot be converted directly from Ambassador and other postpaid plans.

I don't see the point of the Ambassador plans anymore. Only Ambassador Zero is worth holding on to if you already have it.
For all the other Ambassador plans, there are much better alternatives in regular prepaid and postpaid plans.
Indeed I get the impression Digi would now prefer anyone to not even consider the Ambassador programme at all.
