Hi guys, I am using this motherboard and the support list stated that they supported 950 PRO. Do you think Samsung 970 PRO compatible? Wanted to get 1 for main OS drive. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-H17...-10#support-docAnother question. If i get a new SSD, I just clone my old drive to the new SSD. Should be no issue right? Thanks for the info.

QUOTE(horns @ Aug 10 2018, 02:38 AM) yes, there should be no issue with 970 pro. as long as the ssd has enough capacity to house the os and related system partitions, it should be good to go. QUOTE(Boldnut @ Aug 10 2018, 01:49 PM) should be no issue, I just clone from my Sata 2 port 80GB windows 10 OS HDD from MBR to GPT Sata 3 port 80GB Kingston UV500 SSD. I got more change than you. I clone/move from sata_2+HDD+MBR into Sata_3+GPT_SSD. Thanks, both for the reply. Appreciated it. Time to hunt for good bargain and take the leap.

Hi, guys. I just bought Samsung 970 PRO 512GB M2 SSD and finished installing it. This is my result from crystaldiskmark but I felt something is not right. The read and write for 4K Q32 and 4K Q1 lower than those result I seen online. Besides that, sometime during my crystaldiskmark 4K Q32 read my GSync monitor would artifact and monitor restarted by itself. Few sec only then back to normal. During normal usage, no such issue. Is there sometime wrong with my M2 SSD? Thanks in advance
