Damn cheap. Registered on Amazon and bought it!  rclxms.gif

Together with a M.2 to PCIe adapter card for my aging Asrock z87. Luckily the latest bios supports NVMe.  rclxm9.gif

so dat usd 128+14.37 =142.36... current online shows 4.19.. but normally spread add another 2.5-3%... so 4.29475x142.36 = RM611.40..
not bad...

but i already sworn off from all samsung evo ssds. they are too gimmicky from ssd to nvme.

got da 11.11 sale for crucial 1tb..

so now sitting with 3x 1tb ssd mx300,mx500 x 2 and another 512gb x 2 mx100... feel like selling all and pay to get a 4tb ssd... furious.gif  furious.gif
*
LOL.. go ahead and change to 4TB SSD.. and sell me cheap cheap on 1TB MX500 tongue.gif

despite this being a great price I believe the newly launched SX8200 Pro (512GB ~450RM) is the better choice for most of us.

mind to share where you get this price?

QUOTE(TristanX @ Nov 24 2018, 04:32 PM)
That depends on games. If you get shit tons of files like Final Fantasy XV or Star Control Origins, you can feel the loading is faster.

Samsung 970 Pro - 500000 IOPS
Samsung 860 Pro - 100000 IOPS
Crucial MX500 - 72000 IOPS

I could do a benchmark of Star Control load times if you want. I have all three of the above. or Final Fantasy XIV? It has built-in benchmark.
*
I brought 1TB MX500 purely for games loading, so it doesn't help much? I had a 860 Evo for boot up purpose, which SSD is better for gaming purpose? Hmm

The Samsung Rapid mode only start after windows fully loaded, though the performance already quite good.
For gaming, SSD only helps if your games requires frequent loading, eg. Tomb Raider Series.

imho the MX500 1tb already good enough.

Thanks for the explanation!

EIT Store & Mono Digital are 2 stores you want to avoid

Have bad experiences with both of them

Mono Digital - Ordered MicroSD, only shipped after 2 weeks and that's only after I sent an email to Lazada helpline
Cancelled my order without notice, not even a word of apology
Never answer questions and never reply to chat
Deleted all my posts in their Facebook page when I complained about them. What a pussy

EIT Store - Ordered RAMs, only shipped after 9 days and that's only after I report to Shopee helpline
Also never answer questions in Lazada and never reply chat
*
never deal with EIT Store before, no comment on this
for Mono Digital, yes you're right.. they are like turtle.. if not because of Lazada voucher price, i will get the order from their office directly which located at Kepong.
