The average M.2 drive is no faster, and possibly not as fast as the higher end 3.5" in on SATA Port.
You need to be specific.
M.2 is just a connection, now the question is whether or not the M.2 runs on SATA, PCI-E or NVME.
NVME which is an extension of PCI-E, would be the fastest among them.
Want to advise people, at least give full details la. Later the fella poor thing go buy RM 200 - 400 M.2 and then expect it to perform like NVME drive.
