hi guys/ gals
Wish to ask whether SSD comes with any disk imaging/ cloning software or not? Planning to change my MSI leopard gaming laptop HD to SSD.
Thanks

QUOTE(horns @ Sep 3 2017, 08:58 PM) it depends on how you look at it. if you checked their price/performance ratios, 240gb range is a better option. (cheaper relatively, with better performance and endurance, compared to 120gb range options) Agree better buy the larger size of 240gb as it is more worthwhile. Hope there are no suddenly increase like the GPU Mining Crisis i rather save more to get a 240gb range than settled with 120gb. |

QUOTE(horns @ Sep 3 2017, 11:19 PM) nand flash price hike might be imminent. there are already news about nand flash price going up since few months ago (due to shortage). in about a month's time, gpu price might go up again, also due to shortage (gddr5). Thanks horns if you have some extras, i think you can still look for good deals at various places for now. |

QUOTE(horns @ Sep 4 2017, 02:35 AM) no problem; imo the better timing to get a ssd is always when you're sure you need one. also, to get one or not, it really depends on your situations. You're spot on, i decided on the SSD option as to give a new life to my 2 years old laptop so I can utilize for other tasks if you have some extras (despite current exchange rates and on-going price hikes), and if your current computer is still running os on hdd, then it's better to get one. you will save a lot of time waiting for os and apps to load, and be more productive. the bottom line: for a pc with 8gb ram and 3rd generation intel cpu, adding even a value ssd can make a significant difference Thanks again for your reply, horns |
