are you referring to optane memory as cache or optane ssd?

My bad, yes optane cache. Those test are convincing but I’m not sure about real life situation.

Does those kingston A400 series with 480GB reliable ? I too cheap as a SSD.
Performance is sure low as browsing around but for a SATA1/2 connection , will it be enough ?
Read through https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/4625459 but not sure whether most of the comment is true.

What part which worry the most was the firmware of sudden failure without warning.
What nand and firmware does the kingston A400 use ?

Just start building my rig using the 480GB as main drive, I don't see any speed difference from my Macbook Pro 2017 PCIE SSD. Speedy as usual.
