hi, can anyone share a link to download free window XP installation software, pls. tyvm. and if i were to set up a pendrive that can plugin and stra8 install the window XP software, how shld i make that?

Widows XP and the following version Windows Vista are outdated.
Windows 7 is the best choice currently for few $$.

i were just wanted to reformat my old laptop which is using xp atm. i dont plan to heavy use the laptop , just minor documentation and songs transfer. is that fine?

why dont u go for ubuntu instead? xp is very prone to malwares and viruses... even if it wont affect you, it will affect other users in your local area network..

Linux Mint is better & similar UI with Window XP.
