![]() I am using fnhon 3d handlepost with 34cm length. I change bcos i dont like the ride position when using my previous 40cm. some more with shorter handlepost it just aesthetically pleasing to look at the bike.hehe Previous look with the 40cm ![]() Anyway, i also had a tern link d16 before.as for stiffness comparison, this fnhon 3d handlepost is no match to terns. The tern is like zero play/wobble and soo stiff AF even when you off saddle climbing hard. meanwhile fnhon 3d still got a little flexes no different than its non 3d version. I think the headtube/headset design play more important role than the handlepost itself as i feel the flex from my fnhon come from that area This post has been edited by mizi28: Sep 7 2017, 10:43 AM |

QUOTE(small_fish18 @ Sep 7 2017, 11:17 AM) That's exactly what im thinking My latest setup with 349 wheelset and 34cm handlepost.very much like the one azam posted, the white color frame.I think Tern handlepost clamp play a role on the stiffness as well. Do u have a updated 34cm handlepost photo from side? Yours is 349 or 305 wheelset? ![]() This post has been edited by mizi28: Sep 7 2017, 02:25 PM |

QUOTE(Str33tBoY @ Mar 1 2018, 06:40 PM) Thinking to buy a folding bike very very soon... I assume your budget is around 2k since youre considering java ira which priced around 2.1k.Eye-ing on some model slightly towards long journey cycling, maybe like 10km to 20km... TRS Victor(Cheapest + Better Shifter Den Fit? Maybe other component?) Java Fit(Branded,Average Specs) Java Pro 3(Slightly Better Specs Den Fit?) Java IRA(Carbon Body, but Not Reali Matter? Better Wheel Bearing? Worth d price?) Need some advice, and see which is d better buy for d money... Just fyi, java ira frame is chromoly the fork is carbon.correct me if im mistaken. Just giving more options according to your budget Dahon speed falco chromoly ,2k -needless to say, anyone into folding bike surely now this brand -451 wheelset Fnhon blast alu, start from 1.5k -growing brand in Malaysia folding bike community -highly customizable and endless racun Tern link C8 alu, 2k - average spec - but most polished folding bike i ever ride.stiff frame and handle.neat and smooth folding mechanism. |

QUOTE(Str33tBoY @ Mar 2 2018, 05:13 PM) Ic,frame quality wise for java fit vs java pro 3 vs fnhon ka2018? If u ask me ..ofc fnhon anytime because i just like chainstays which is absent on the java frame.Btw,usually shop will charge how much and take how long to assemble a folding bike... Coz need to count d total cost if i import one... Shop charge not sure.usually i send to cycling friend oni ,belanja minum kawtim.if all component complete wont take so long.a day or two would do. If u really interested in custom building a folding bike.i can suggest my friend.he is an enthusiast. I belanja u photo of my ex-fnhon... QUOTE(Str33tBoY @ Mar 7 2018, 03:06 PM) I like to do some survey before buying... Seems like you are inclined toward java.Although is quite time comsuming... Almost adi lar,jz hope that someone selling their used one with nice price... So that i can start from there... Java pro 3,fit or ira... Thx for all d info for dahon speed... How bout comparing with speed falco? Same frame? Limited edition? Btw,how bout if i bought a used pro 3... And a fnhon storm frame to change... Izit ok? It is decent tho.theres a guy in our wassap group doing bike touring in eastern europe with his java until kena stole then he settle with a brompton later. |

QUOTE(azamunekurone @ Mar 12 2018, 02:46 PM) get a full sized folding bike if u wanna feel like one.... Spotted duraace c24, which one u recommend racing zero or DA24?in this case, ![]() do question urself, bike only a medium. maybe it will help u around 30% in cycling, but another 70% is ur effort and leg. if u give peter sagan a cheap rm300 16" folding bike also i doubt u can beat him with 50k roadbike 🤔 dont upgrade ur ride, rides upgrade! |

QUOTE(rkhairulrijal @ May 19 2018, 05:25 PM) ![]() Finally complete my upgrading project on my Verge. Was thinking to do roadbike project at first, before changing my mind to mod this beast as I had 451 wheelset hanging around for 2 years. Regret later 😂 P/s: looking for 451 tube with 60mm nipple. Where can i get it in Klang valley. |

QUOTE(fatani @ Sep 13 2018, 06:53 PM) I dont live in klang valley bro.so, that place is quite far from me. Since U mentioned bukit sampah u should try the loop including bukit miku...in reverse.heheHere actually we got a few places with respectable gradient as well. sometimes i just choose mtbing climb offroad jer..planning to ride on bukit tampin and bukit sampah somewhere in the near future, just need to arrange suitable time to go there, since the distance will be around 120-140km.. What i meant with fraser is, the gradient isn't as extreme as i previously imagine in my head..you know lah, it's a famous climbing spot in Malaysia, and it's been hailed as the place where cyclist 'renew licenced', in the end, it's only a long and continous climb with moderate gradient. Once you get your gearing and cadence right, it was an effortless climb. But i do enjoy the trip, just less excited to ride there again. |
