Hi all sifu-sifu here, I am totally new to the cycling ecosystem, because I have space and storage concern so am looking into buying a foldie and my requirement is as per below: 1. long distance riding (mayb a little of bumpy road here and there) 2. hill climbing (mostly tar road.. i dont think I will go into juggle trek route) 3. 20 inch (i think this size can fit into my myvi boots?) 4. budget can only go to 1.2 or max 1.5k.. (don't think that is possible to have a below 1k foldie which can fullfill my requirement above?)
Is there any recommendation and suggestion from sifu sifu here please? Thanks in advanced!

QUOTE(fcuk90 @ Aug 14 2020, 06:39 PM) a lot ppl selling veroli/crossmac over 1k, but i think you should look for fnhon 20inch basic specs (8 or 9 speed / crius bike (not sure whether malaysia got it or not, i think have), should be approx 1.5k otherwise, it will be like java /trinx? Thanks for the advise! I try searching dealer in malaysia who sell fnhon or crius bike but not able to find one. Do you all know any?

Wanted to check is it possible to upgrade a v brake system to mechanical disk brake system on a folding bike? Note: the frame does not have the hub mount..

Hi all, any suggestion on ergonomics handlebar grip? Currently, I am just using on a foam grip on my Crius Velocity foldie. After few long distance ride, I feel very uncomfortable on my palm and thinking to change to a better one.

I saw Ergon too, but it cost around 140ish on shopee, seems abit pricey to me 🤔 Maybe will try what azam says, go for a curvy design grip like ergon one 😂

QUOTE(talexeh @ Sep 30 2020, 05:27 PM) Reporting in today's ride. I've always wanted to ride up Air Itam dam but all the horror stories both in LYN & among real life friends had got me hesitating a lot. Anyway, I'm glad I chose low traffic hours to ride up since that allowed me to zig-zag when it comes to hard climb. what time are you riding up there? I am newbie on foldie based in Penang too. last 2 weeks drove up to Air Itam dam and ride up into the Goh Hean Temple from there. Still hesitating to ride from Kek Lok Si kaki bukit to Air Itam Dam
