Any advice for stray dog issue while cycling?

Today I encountered a pack of dogs... they were barking and chasing me, incline road for about a short distance, I made no eye contact and continued my pace. Luckily a passer by Car gave the dogs a good Horn, then they stopped chasing after me ... phew.. cold sweats

street dogs are all bark and no bite. especially when they're in a pack. masing2 tunjuk hero. bila ramai dia gangster, bila sorang dia hamster.

2 things you can do:

1. ignore and continue pedalling. they'll come close but do not be afraid, just go steadily. once you're out of their "teritory" they'll stop chasing.
OR
2. stop, turn around and chase them back.

but what i would do if i plan to cycle that route regularly, i'll buy some dog dry food and feed them.

do that a couple of times once they recognise your smell, they wont be aggressive to you anymore. in fact you'd gain a few bodyuards while cycling there.

Thanks ^^ Awesome idea

Just Wana share ... for those looking for a bottle cage adapter
I just received my sks bottle cage adapter,
Very well made (in Germany) super easy & fast, hardly need any force to mount and unmount from bike when folding and surprisingly sturdy (was worried as the clamp was too easy to close and open)

Best Rm36 spend.

Where do you get one? The one I found on Lazada / Shopee are those China stocks so not sure if they're genuine.

I got mine from Amazon US, I got 2 sets of each bottle cage, cage adapter and IO lux bells.

It’s odd sometimes if buy a single item shipping is expensive. Buy more item the total shipping also much cheaper than a single item. So do experiment a bit.

Sometimes brooks cambium saddles are on sale there. Even with shipping it’s about rm320 -350

So do check it out.

Can I ask how often do you need to true your wheels ? I like to get my hands dirty and DIY stuff, but was just wondering if getting a truing device is worthwhile, or I’ll probably end up using only once a year. ( space is a premium for me LOL )

Thanks
