abit hard to find shop tht sells qicycle,

i saw it at klcc flagship store, heard tht it is for display only.

e- assist bike is not very popular here, price is also a factor.

Thanks for the help, yes saw it on Xiaomi concept store KLCC, and some online shops in MY..

looking for review from direct owner on this qicycle.

hi guys, recently bought brompton copycat the element pikes..the tyre size is innova 16 x 1 3/8 | 37-349..tried to look into the internet and quite hard to find nice tyre..just wondering if i can use other size like the 16 x 1.50 | 40-305 (not sure this is correct or not) or the 16 x 1 1/4 | 32-349 or the 16 x 1.35| 35-349?
*
I have similar bike like yours.. with same tyre size, changed to Schwable kojak (brompton size 16" x 1-1/4") and it direct fit no issue ..

They selling it in MY?

The RB e-bike I seen around only Specialized Turbo Creo and Giant Road Epro +...

Giant being the cheapest (and the heaviest) and Niamaha Motor.. so you can slab the number 46 on your ebike haha...

Hmm now I think I'll just order from Lazada local seller, not worth the hassle if anything goes wrong during the delivery.

My other option would be DIY a mid drive motor on a folding bike but I'm not sure if that will affect the foldability or not.
*
Ordered Fiido DS4 directly from Shenzen factory.. using 3rd party forwarder.. 3 weeks arrived in KL no issues..

Cheaper than local shop, but if you want to have peace of mind get from local distributor, at least got warranty..

However nowadays many electric scooter/bicycle repair shops available in MY, the science behind it is the same.. battery, motor, controller and such.. so not really an elephant in the room anymore..

Amazing how he can fit all these in such a small package. biggrin.gif
Thanks for sharing your experience, may I know how much did you pay for the bike and shipping? Fiido seems nice but most are out of stock on Taobao apparenly. sweat.gif Also how's the hybrid hydraulic compared to the stock mechanical brake? I've seen some on Shopee before but I don't know how well it performs just yet.
*
I went direct to the factory, after scrolling through heaps of chinese website finally got the contacts, Payed less than 2k in total for the bike and the shipping fees...

now aiming for FiiDo M1 Pro. seems nice..

however I think the local distributor got stock, why not check with them?

https://www.facebook.com/Fiido-E-Bike-Malay...38507122867418/

The Hybrid disc so far ok, reduced the squawking sound that produce by the mechanical brake caliper due to need to adjust every now and then..

Braking power is almost similar not major improvement, as you can lock the tyres easily with both brakes. However it added extra weight if you really into the lightweight...

Thanks for replying , ya I seen that from internet as well but the material is leather wonder how much better it can be

From what I heard you need to have saddle time for about week to 1 month in order to shape it to your butt... then you will get the comfort out of the B17

Also need to jaga the leather from the elements (rain) or not it'll become brittle (not sure if this is the correct word?  hmm.gif  )

Yes this one, or you need to very rajin to clean and put leather balm/polish to guard it .. after all its an organic material..
