QUOTE(lucifah @ Jun 4 2020, 07:38 PM) Finally got a 20" K-12 foldie to add to my previous 16" one This one has so much improvement over the FA-20 (16") in term of frame stiffness I have this exact same bike. Tried to look up for more info on the bike (Manufacturer's documentation), but nothing. Looks like an XDS K3 frame and fork (I could be wrong) with parts. A tad similar to K1 but the handle bar folding mechanism seems different My first foldie and loving it so far. Wife has an XDS Evo 930 and my 8yr old boy rides a Dahon Vybe D7. Love how the Dahon folds but prefer how the K-12 rides. The Evo 930 is probably my least favourite of the 3

QUOTE(lucifah @ Jun 18 2020, 02:16 PM) true about that on the no info about this bike, but no worry, china bike manufacturers are never good with marketing. that's why most of them started as OEM to bigger brands. but i dare say the frame is quite stiff, so it's good for climbing. of course nothing beats dahon for portability, but then again, u dont get 20" for urban commute. for that u need 16". how much u paid for yours? mine was rm 1,900 (sarawak price) I got it for about the same price. RM1990; with some free gifts. Parts feel high quality and fit and finish is really good; even compared to the Dahon Vybe D7 that I got my son. I like the Dahon only because they have that magnet at the font that locks the folding position; and that's all. For everything else, I prefer my XDS. I haven't weighed the bike but it felt quite light. Been eyeing on the Tern Verge X10. Am obsessed with weight saving

QUOTE(vhs1 @ Jun 19 2020, 09:55 AM) Fuh! Elegant 👍😃👍 I tanya my wifey can buy or not... But From her reaction & expression like got susah sikit, X10 - sleep on sofa If X11 - sleep on car porch / camp on the lawn 😃😂 I would go for X10 due to four distinct advantages. 1. Lighter than X11. 2. Cheaper than X11. 3. Smaller wheels (more compact). 4. We have agreed to change the sofa at home. Should be fine to sleep there. Closer to the fridge too.

QUOTE(lucifah @ Jun 18 2020, 05:06 PM) the magnet you can buy. and can attach. i saw some attachment point at the 2 joint. in shopee, the folding bike magnet is abour rm 15 - 20. dunno how good it is tern verge x10 has almost similar frame design with XDS, but at higher price. it's the chain stay design a bit different. maybe due to the tern is 451 and the xds is 402 wheels? Good point on getting own magnets and attaching. I will try to look for them. Thanks.

As usual, I made a bad judgment call and sold my XDS K12...and now looking for a replacement bike. Seems like almost all shops seem to be sold out. Anyone have any experience with Twitter F2.0 folding bike? Seems like a pretty legit kit. http://www.twitterbicycle.com/En/Product/detail/id/370.html
