Sorry for the delay. My line is out for the past few days. Easy to swap the cables, no need to take out the levers too. Just compress the two sides of the calipers and then take out the noodle (no need to loosen the cable clamp) . Once this is done, there will be freeplay of the cables and then you can take out the cables aligning the slot and then change sides and reverse back the procedure to put back the cables. Easy, assuming if yours is V-brakes , off course.

I described the painting job step by step on my previous comment. Just scroll back. I am suprised that no one here actually replied this question about reversing the brake levers side. Come lah, be a helpful community.  tongue.gif

Hi sifu etigge, I managed to swap it, using the same method as you said. Yes, is v brake. I also surprised by how easy it is. Maybe too easy so people don't bother to reply.. my fault for not looking at internet first. ,

What's your chainring and cogs size?

I used to ride a eezz D3, 3 speeds, with the chainring limited to max 42t. 9-11-13T behind.
For me 40t pair with 9-11-13 is the best combination. i can tackle most of the hills with no problem. Slow but light enough to climb.
Tried Mayor hills, pantai hills, langat perez, duta hills etc.

My chainring is 47t, behind 11-13-15. A bit regret not going for 9-13-17 (what they offer at about 100 more). In future maybe I wanna change the chainring to 53t. The seller told me 53t can't use as it touches the folding hinge, but after that I check many other user can use 53t no problem..

Finally i am curious and went to get a brompton. find the comparison between Fnhon 16", Tern 20" and Brompton 18"
Still Brompton win in term of folded size.

I am actively testing the bike out for pro and cons.

being a steel frame, and little elasto suspension the ride is comfortable.

handling i still feel FNhon is slightly better than brompton.

folds compact and can wheel around easily.

the folding of brompton just so neat and tidy. rclxms.gif
superb looking. how much damage?

you see many people worried about not having MTB kind of gear on their foldie. for christ sake our wheel is 16 or 20 inches you don't actually need that kind of gear if you are fairly fit.
small wheel more torque.
*
yeah. my 16 inch foldie is 47T crank with 11,13,15T at the back only.... sweat.gif

Wanted to check is it possible to upgrade a v brake system to mechanical disk brake system on a folding bike?
Note: the frame does not have the hub mount..
*
You thinking of welding a mounting for the disk brake? Maybe better get a new frame with disk brake support?
