Q and A Uninstalling Norton cause windows' blue screen?

after i uninstalled it, my laptop start to blue screen. alot!
any ways to solve the problem?

I think your OS system files corrupted crash with Norton.

Try install back and see the BSOD goes away then use Norton uninstaller this time.

i think i solved the problem....for now
think its the new AV, kaspersky caused the problem. i installed it before uninstall Norton.... so, i uninstall the kaspersky and reinstall....
so far, no blue screen anymore

Usually 2 antivirus in same PC will conflict and crash

in your case
if blue screen again, means windows OS have system error,
you might need to reformat

Best is without any AV. All my PCs ran without one for 20 years plus. I only tweaked the services.msc to run only those I need.

Dunno why people need to install bloatware on their PCs for? If u don't simply download stuff or open attachments, nothing will happen. At most kena is adware which is very easy to delete.

some users prefer download unhealthy website or some users not really awake of malware / malicious software /phishing email on the attachment/ link
