heya guys, i needed help on choosing a 144hz monitor. so far, i have narrowed down my choices to 4 model, which is
1) Acer KG240A
2) Asus VG248QE
3) Zowie XL2411Z
4) Zowie XL2430T

The latter is the expensive one, as I included it with reasons who knows its a bit better with pricey price kinda reason. My current monitor is a cheap philip 222el which i bought less than rm 300 and in dire need of replacement. A couple of question then arise,
1) does freesync monitor only works with AMD gpu, since im using gtx1070?
2) does DVI-D support up to the claimed 144hz? i noticed zowie 2411 doesnt come with DP which purportedly can deliver up to 144hz
3) can my 1070 drive 144hz? since im using a 1080p monitor now.

hope i can get some recommendation and clarification from members on board. as for g sync, not gonna have it now as my option now is only 144hz. g sync is way out of budget.

1. Yes.... only for AMD...
2. DVI-D should be fine.. make sure your cable also DVI-D, some cable just DVI..
3. 1080p 144hz depends on game... CS:GO will work wonder... AAA games.. need lower certain option...

so nvidia cannot use this monitor? only for AMD user only? im using DVI now. and currently only playing overwatch.

Will not use the feature only... so, in the sense as not worthy since cannot use the feature... but if u plug in nvidia still can perform...
change to DP.. .DP is gooding...
