 Which is better, CMOS vs CCD

CMOS takes up less power and noise i think is better as a result of that...

But CCD is an emerging technology, so its really hard to say which is better.

The only confusion that it feels that CMOS is lousier is bcos somehow factories create cheap CMOS sets for items such as webcams (lower quality stuff), so you generally associate CMOS sensors with these items... (cameras from China or something like that)

But of course, some Canon gurus here will beg to differ... rclxms.gif

haha... sorry about that...

been to too many posts regarding this with too many different views and information (questionable information like what i posted previously)

Ok, will not comment further on this post... lala... (but anyway i last heard alot of R&D is going into CCD? oh well, nvmind... i'm really not too bothered anyway)
