What's the price for this model outside?

I've ordered the dv6227tx anyway for a price of 3199...

Is it possible to speed up the delivery date? 2 weeks is a long time.

Depending on your needs. If you already have a PC which is good enuf to play games. Why go for the proc?

Hiya peeps.... reporting on a HP DV6227.

Glad to say that the notebook's pretty impressive.

The only bad side is the unstableness of the Vista Home Premium... it hangs

Sigh... looks like i'll be having a big problem.

Things were alright y'day till this morning. I tried switching the notebook on and I heard jerks (HDD or rom drive?) twice / thrice, then the fan just stop running... nothing appears on the screen. (just the blue-ish buttons on the quick play bar).

What happened? "_"

BTW, what time does the HP Service Centre close at?

I need the working days / time. Those bloody operators there play "taichi", pushing from lines to lines when what I want is some details from them. Sheeshhh....

Any problems you faced so far? The bloody quick play touch button is sensitive wei.

Wooooott... really gonna praise HP for this.

I've sent my faulty 3days old dv6227tx to HP service centre y'day. Was told that it could be the LCD screen problem or mobo went kaput. Then the lady told me that it could take 1 - 2 weeks to get it done and since I got the laptop under this staff scheme thingy, they told me that I cant do 1-to-1 exchange... but only to repair. I was pissed off then I went to complain to them b4 I left.

Then this morning, they called again saying that they'll replace a new one for me and said that collection could be done later.

Yeah... I still have the warranty anyways.

Now to upgrade / update stuffs in the notebook!

Awww dude... this is sh*t man.

Turn on to find a notice that the Vista in my lappie is not genuine, thus asking for the prudoct key. Key in the key according to the OEM sticker behind the lappie and still it's not accepted. What's the problem?

Has anyone faced this problem so far? It couldnt be the techies from HP tower (sent once there to replace my mobo) or ppl stealing the product key, as I've been using it at home ever since I got it.

Sigh.... headache man.

Could be, before it got replace there wasnt any problem. And I did not un/reinstall Vista as well. Perharps I need to give HP a call 2molo.

Sometimes I hate the Quickplay button for being too sensitive.
Yes it boots Vista 1st and then after that it will load Quickplay out.
