I haven't tested the Edifier H260 myself, prehaps they got 1 provide 1 set for testing purposes during this up coming thursday, which is the setup day.

IMO, Creative's earbud is very soft and comforatable.

H260 is not as good as ep630.
sounds very seal off. like every sound pass through a tube.
EP630 is much more natural.
comfort, isolation both about the same
H260 wire is harder, less micro phonic effect, but EP630, touching the cable itself make m ear painful, as the noise, "dub" so loud at my ear.
H260 overall not as good...

IMHO. sony earphone cable is same as the EP630 cable. what is the point of recable?
both of them comes from Foster Electric Factory. =)
same manufacturer.
except if you want to preserve the colour.

keep in bag as collection. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif thumbup.gif but if u sit there properly to listen music, it's good. but when u walk around with EP630 i feel my footsteps is louder than the music.
my whole body bone also got sound..lol

during PC Fair u are actually hard to find a fake one. =P
IEM = In Ear monitor
OEM = Original equiptment Manufacturer.

some times, ppl will call "fake" things OEM to cheat ppl.

the creative one is using amaeture tranducer..
while CX300 is just ordinary dynamic drive.
not sure which is best
but IM716, Westone UM1/ UM2, Shure higher end / JAY audio all using amarture drive.
seems it has large potential.
and all of them were above RM 300 =P

compare to usual earphone. this EP630 is really worth to buy even at full price RM 109
not to say RM 59 only during pc fair.

but it's quite worth imho. see my signature. among so many earphone / canal phone. EP630 has best performance / price ratio. infact it sounds the best in canal phone lol. i only have EP630, H260, and SHe9500.

just use normal volume as u listen.
desktop can.
but i suggest u just use it normally
it will burn in itself.
and plug ear phone into desktop sound card isn't really recommended. as sound card often have obvious DC offset.
except you only plug the earphone when your computer had load into window. and unplug it before u shut down.
wanna know what i mean. u can plug a speaker on the compter, turn the volume to half.
and see what happen when you switch on and turn off the computer.
