im newbie here and driving grab for past 1 week - part time.
and staying in Mantin.

i picked one customer from KTJ (kolej tunku jaffar) to klia2 and the fare was only rm 54 + RM10 promo ended being paid rm 44 and balance rm10 into wallet.

is this norm ? not supposed to be rm65 ?

asked CS and replied that due to pickup customer outside of klang valley.

please help

Owh..hence the CS was correct then,

Pity me liao...waiting 1 hour at KLIA2 for rider ended coming back empty...coz so many drivers there.
Have to learn the hard way then...

i had a dispute with CS yesterday.

at 10.15PM - From KTM batang benar need to go palm villa aprment (pick up 7.5 KM) and from there need to ride to Jalan UTL (1.5 KM) with the fare of RM 3.
does this make sense ? so i ignore the job and call CS to ask,
CS die die dont want to give shit and say that we have to pick if not AR will affect.and the job was worth coz only 1.5km,
and i get the ping coz im the nearest driver in the radius.

ended up feeling lyk slave for grab.

yah....there's a long way to go then with grab...

mantin and pajam area very less driver.. ... 50% of the trips all going out to KL, KAJANG , TBS , KLIA , and seremban town.
rarely get short trip..

need to have a strategy.

i drive after work from 8pm to 11pm daily and saturday full from 10am till 10pm.
sunday only halfday till 1pm

not sure this is incentive or fare basis..

cincai2 if can get rm200 per week after deduct petrol and maintanence enuf oredy for me.

ive no choice but to sapu all job...coz my trip very less this week and yesterday no incoming ping from 8.30 PM till 11.30 PM....so strange.

just updated the grab driver app and need to see how today.

summore the incentive not credited into cash wallet....hence need to think twice.

im just a part time grab driver (3 hours/day from Mon- Fri) sat-sun full day.
the number of incoming pings at Nilai,Mantin,Pajam is very less.

like for yesterday - only 1 ping in 3 hours online .
its like unpredictable to hit incentive.

just did abit of survey and found out that most of these area dominated by Uber riders and drivers since its a bit cheaper and less traffic jam.

im in grab pro tier and will grab found out if i install uber in my phone ?
or use the same mobile number for both uber and grab ?

please help..

with current economy ...everything is very hard and need money.
motorbike parking RM 2 ....kincing + verak RM 1 ....

furthermore ..still thinking wheather to fill full tank petrol today or tomorrow since the petrol price is unpredictable.

if want fixed income .. go makan gaji
if really wanna cari side/pocket money...sapu all the incoming ping...uber + grab is there
if want passive income ... use your skills and find...computer repair ,plumber , wiring , painting house ,fake taxi and , japan AV audition ... etc
if want to gamble...go casino or kedai kuda and try ur luck - faster result.

this is what i teach to my brothers and sister...dont depend 100% on your degree or diploma...master your other skills , and learn other things as well.

now got legalised part time income maker ---make use of it before it ends

same situation here before ... 1st day dont know how to open map from grab app...coz panicked already.

2nd day ...9.30am 1st ping itself for KLIA 2....then the day goes on till never realise already 7pm

yes..even the contractors fixing light and fans are earning more than us.
aircond servicing also good money now.

* just 2 days ago 11pm...picked very sexy 2 excort (student) from famous uni to nearby famous hotel...
the rider was very polite and tips me for loading and unloading luggage.
dont mention....was very2 leng lui abit korean .... fuhhhh....barely 25-27 old....

this rating system is very kiasus AF ....

my rating was all the way 5 start till i pick this one bitch.
not to mention...i speak malay .. pretend dont know ...i speak tamil...pretend not fluent.
i speak english ...then acknowlede....but malaysian and studying in uni

after that ..complaining that very noisy ..why jam... why u turn...why this jalan...
my instict already alert that this must be once crazy bitch ....and conform 1 star.
the next day ....rating dropped to 4.95 ....

waiting the day for grab to implement rider rating....
