Grab, Uber's biggest rival in Singapore, currently begins imposing a waiting time penalty after a driver has been waiting for five minutes. Thereafter, the late rider is charged S$3 for every five-minute block.

Another woman, also KL city center, lucky I called her first before going, she claimed she didn't book at all. Lucky she cancelled quickly too. I doubt it is due to his mistake or unfamiliar with app functions. They probably want try their luck to get cheaper fare in the area with no surge pricing. |
