There was a hidden cost risk which we Can't see that was wear and tear on the car . Same as transport owner who take the risk. as a risk taker , a substantial return should be given, same as those who work on oil and gas industry.

I don't count as details as u are but i have a spreadsheet for tax filing purpose, listing down my earnings and expenses. I know the costing for each KM but no point calculate so details lah. After all this car at least churning some income instead depreciating every year.

Go prepare on your own, it is very simple only. Just print out weekly statement and state the net earning, keep all the receipt/tax invoice for petrol, maintenance, toll, car wash, insurance etc. Then those expenses only allowable 50% or 2/3 since there is personal usage.

Example :

Earnings - RM5000

Expenses:-
Petrol - RM1000
Maintenance - RM400
Toll - RM100
Car Wash - RM50
Insurance - RM1000
Phone charges - RM250
Total expenses = RM2800
Allowable expenses @ 50% = RM1400 (For full timer use 2/3)

Net earning to be report = RM3600 (State in form B)

If u ask tax agent to do, easily cost 1k+ for the computation above, much better to do on your own.

Toll charges if u can identify then claim full lor, for the toll expenses require u go back to home.
I know that, pay higher tax can can save your hassle if u purchase property or getting loan in future.

Nowadays LHDN going full force against tax ehvader, so don't play play, the penalty is hefty.

just a matter for ron95, not every petrol accept card payment for this quoting no much profits earned. best still cash ready for ron95 and get the receipt, however, be prepared for scanner + laser printer to print it out as duplicate copy, thermal prinedt receipt fades within 2 weeks

I always thought that if do account yourself, you will try to evade tax and under declare your net earning as much as possible.

That's why I gave it to LHDN authorized tax agent to do it for me in legal way unless those tax agent also corrupted then I have no comment.
Even LHDN officer has asked me to go to Tax Agent for tax computation.

I don't think any of us (non-accountant) know to derive QE by ourself to get more tax deduction.

Wah.. you guys go and pay LHDN ah.. I'm earning RM 12,000+ gross also diam diam saja...
