Uncle want to terminate over-contract package and re-subscribe. Still need to go over to TM-point? If relocate the over-contract package to another location, any idea how much for the cabling? Pay to the contractor or billed? thanks.

Got to go to TM point. I also terminate and resubscribe. Got to give them the old BTU

Just bring the old BTU / Modem will do?
And on the spot receive new ones? Can go back and plug and play immediately or need to wait for tech to come over? I assume nothing else to be done since cabling already there.

Relocation still needs installer to come to do the necessary. You will need to apply it in nearest TM Point and choose the installation date.

Not relocation. Re-subscribe. i.e. terminate existing package and apply new one.

Would like to check with season Unifi Fixed IP users here. I noticed nowdays especially the Unifi 30 package with fixed IP address, that when the PPPoE is dialed it will get 172.xx.xx.xx IP. Additional step is required by adding Fixed IP address into the 'static ip column instead'.

Previously Unifi package Fixed IP Address, we used to have a TM router configured as 175.xx.xx.01 and our public fixed IP is 175.xx.xx.02 (what I need to configured on my laptop).

Anyone noticed this?

You shouldn't be getting 172.16.x.x - 172.31.x.x. Those are assigned if your credentials are wrong or the account has been suspended.

Yes. It shows connected, and those are the IP range received (172.20.xx.xxx). It even shows Gateway (which are also in that range) & DNS obtained.
And it works only with the TM router where the field 'static IP' has to be manually entered. With this Internet works.

If this router is taken out, even with an equipment supporting vlan & pppoe, the same 172.20.xxx.xxx is obtained.

What router are you using? (Where it's not working and where you're getting the 172.20.x.x address?)
TM Router given: ZTE ZXHN H267A

the 172.20.xx.xx is shown on my Fortigate unit. And yes, confirm the pw is correct.

bro.. I am very familiar with the 172.x ip range
whenever I pay my unifi bill too late or didn't pay full despite numerous reminders from TM, they will reward me with this ip  laugh.gif
in other words account suspended but still connected with this special ip. cannot even open hypptv
lol

I guess so. But this is a newly applied biz unifi account. I'm beginning to suspect they have yet to properly configure it. Calls to hotline is useless. I demanded to speak to their 2nd / 3rd level but they refused. So I screw the TM account manager in charge of us. I told him, either solve it by this week or we'll get our litigation dept to do work.
