i got the same idea as you, after i check with them, i need go to tm point to apply it.
not only that, i cant just apply the unifi lite, i need to cancel my existing unifi only can apply the unifi lite
thus there is no guarantee u still can get the unifi port after u cancel and reapply the unifi lite 10mbps.

another thing is i ask about the free upgrade from 30mbps to 50mbps, from jan they told me need wait til sept,
sept they told me need wait for another 8months, is just like forever besok lusa never get the upgrade.

this unifi free upgrade... either it sucks becos they dun know how to do it well or they are deliberately stalling, biz smart for a reason.

price rm169 with a decent hypptv pack, no free calls.

tm just told me that my RG TMRnd router is unable to support 50mbps, and not even 30mbps
thats why I get the speed of 23mbps but instead of 40-50mbps.

due to my contract is already end,
is either pay them rm200 to get a supported 50mbps router
or pay rm53+ 24months contract for a supported 50mbps router.

should I report to mcmc for try to conned me ? ranting.gif

in fact, Im testing with tp link router, is still getting the same result.

they said they will check on their site to confirm is not their issue else, I need to change my router.

i got a tplink 1043, is it good to go?

i test with tplink, is still giving the same result, in fact recently at night i notice the speed of download : 15mbps, upload: 3mbps

lan and wireless, both give almost the same result, never more than 25mbps
previously i do get around 28-30mbps

for existing customer, u were unable to get the promotion price of rm189, u need to cancel and apply again , this is what i being told by tm live chat, u cant get back the existing phone number too...

unifi is really sucks.

i make the report few day ago regarding the my internet speed is constantly at 14-15mbps, in fact they told me they had free upgrade me from 30 to 50 mbps.

after contact unifi hotline, they reset the port for me, the speed get up to 23-24mbps, after 30minute it drop back to 14-15mbps.

yesterday morning they close my report after the tech guy call me said your router is not supported 30 or 50mbps, need to be renew contract to change the supported router. rm53+ 24m contract.

the best part is, since yesterday night until this morning, my speed constantly get only 5mbps download and 1mbps upload, even had reset the modem+router.

call again unifi this morning, asking why close my report by just call only without coming to check, they told me to maintain the efficiency of attending to complain, they need to close the report in 3 days furthermore tech guy already call u and you cant reopen the report but only can lodge a new complaint. they even so call offer me for rm53+12m contract for getting supported router.

for above story, its all happen after my contract end and they had call me few time offer for renew the contract but i reject it.

Yes you can have up to 4 account but with a mix of several ISPs but not 2 accounts from TM itself
When you did the test, did you test using Wireless or LAN cable?

1month + ago tested as well, as that time asking about the free upgrade to 50mbps, that time ranging from 20-30mbps

yesterday re-lodge the report, already mention the appointment on sat morning, but saying is coming over the house now mega_shok.gif
asking which model of router im using, and said my router is only supported 5mbps, need to renew contract and change for supported router.

are unifi think the customer is stupid? the router only supported 5mbps where for the pass few years i been using it for around 20-30mbps speed.

after i reject few time of their offer for renew the contract, my speed is drop to 5mbps but im paying 200+ per month and getting standard answer your router not supported. puke.gif vmad.gif mad.gif bangwall.gif ranting.gif
