I recently downgraded from thank you suprise 50Mbps to UniFi Advance 30Mbps - RYE 2017. Now paying rm139 but no free calls or jumbo pack  sad.gif . FYI, my contract finished.

Is it possible to downgrade from Thankyou Surprise 50Mbps to Unifi Advance 30Mbps @ RM139? I was chatting with the TM Live Chat Agent and the agent said the 30Mbps @ RM139 is for new installation only sad.gif

In my case I requested to downgrade only when contract end. I walk in to TM point and request.

My contract has ended. And I asked about downgrading from my current Thankyou Surprise 50Mbps to 30Mbps at the TM Live Chat. And I was told that the 30Mbps at RM139 is for new installation/application only. I will need to apply for a new line for this 30Mbps@RM139 package.

So I guess TM Point will be able to handle this downgrade request without applying for new line?

currently on UNIFI 50 (free upgrade from UNIFI 30), anyone know can i downgrade my plan to UNIFI 30 price at RM139. I am still in contract period (already 12 month, remain another 12 month). if can downgrade to UNIFI 30 at RM139 with recontract (24 months) and without any penalty, i do not mind to downgrade (can save RM40 every month, from 179 to 139).. not heavy user, so UNIFI 30 should be sufficient for me.
*
I was in the same situation, except that my contract has just ended mid of this month. So a few days after my contract has ended, I walked in to TM Point and requested for the downgrade. I was expecting that the TM Point staff would say that that UNIFI 30 at RM139 is for new subscribers, but she didn't. She tried to do the order of this package for me, but she couldn't see the package in her screen, she then went to speak to her supervisor. Not sure what information was given to her by her supervisor, but she then manage to put in the downgrade request for me in the system.

I am now on 24 months contract for this new package.

She mentioned that since my earlier contract has already ended, there will not be any downgrade fee. Else I will need to pay RM200 for the downgrade fee.

Did you try to request for a new set of equipment? Planning to do the same as you but want to change my first generation equipment as well.
*
Yes, I did try to ask for new set of equipment, but was not successful.
My existing equipment warranty is refreshed for another one year from the date of upgrade.

just chat with TM livechat agent, only can downgrade to Unifi Lite 10Mbps with 2 option, either pay the dwongrade fee RM200 and continue with existing contract OR recontract another 24 month without paying downgrade fee RM200. Still can continue use the HyppTV STB instead of using the Hypptv app (for new subscriber of Unifi Lite. Still consideing as even though save RM50 per month, but the speed of 10Mbps compare with 50Mbps. Using UBox android box, so not sure the app in my UBox can cope with the reduce speed or not. 30Mbps confident can cope, 10Mbps, not sure....

Earlier, I did try to speak to TM Livechat agent, and the response I got from them was that the downgrade to 30Mbps package was not possible.

I was expecting that TM Point would give me the same response, but apparently, they are able to process my request.

I upgraded my 50mbps package (RM179 monthly) to 100mbps (RM189 monthly) in November 2017. At the beginning, TM made a mess in my billing but has since made amends.

I would like to check whether users who are also 100mbps (RM189) subscribers have the following package discounts (can check on Unifi's website)...

[attachmentid=9570461]

Any idea why the Internet discount is separated into two (RM150+RM50) instead of just a single RM200 discount? I worry one portion of it is given for a limited time only.

Just wondering where I can get the above breakdown details from the unifi.com.my site?
I think I used to be able to view such details from the occ unify site, but now at the new site unifi.com.my, I can't see such details.

Login into your account, it is already showing your account page. Collapse every section (i.e. HyppTV Residential, Residential Voice, Residential High Speed Internet)  to view more details.

I understand that the D-Link's mydlink Lite App has the feature that allow us to view the web browsing history to see what sites the client devices are visiting.
Anyone knows whether there are any other mobile apps from routers other than D-Link which has similar feature?
