Suddenly decided to check my Unifi speed and it was only 15 Mbps download.
Called 100 and asked what package I am on, they said 50 Mbps.
Is this normal for everyone?

Didnt you check with TM rep when you called them? SHould have.

BTW, its not normal bandwidth for a 50Mbps package. On lan you should be able to get 50, on wifi, depending on your local environment and setup, but still should come close to 45Mbps, the least

Yes called them. Its my pc using wifi. Their technician is here. Just think that they will complain i am not using standard router (IPlink) or sell me something.

Updates.
Technician came and said my " TP-LINK 300Mbps Wireless N WiFi UniFi / HyppTV / Maxis Fibre WiFi Router TL-WR841N 2x5dbi Antenna" is old and is limiting my speed via wifi.
They were good honest bros and did not force me to buy anything.
While I think is good that I get a new router, I find it strange that the TP-Link 300Mbps is the problem.

Its WIFI.
Thats what I thought. I am just looking for 30Mbps in a 50 Mbps plan.
I am getting only 10-15, 15-18 Mbps.

Anyway I will get a new router and update later if it fix my problem.

I think you must be using 2.4GHz, which is congested. It's good that you can change router anyway, get something that supports AC. As the other forumers said, many factors influence WiFi.

Yes specification states
Frequency 2.4-2.4835GHz
http://www.tp-link.com/us/products/details...#specifications

After TM checked, tonight I am getting
TM Speed Test - 31.3 - 34 Mbps
Ookla test - 35.47 - 43 Mbps
Ookla on mobile - 17.51 - 22.56Mbps

Last night it was only around 15 Mbps when I called them, Maybe they corrected something back-end.
Will be getting ASUS RT-N12HP High Power N300 3-in-1 Wi-Fi Router ( its still 2.4 Ghz ) tomorrow, I doubt there will be much difference.
Thank you all. Will update.

I was suspecting this last 2 nights which got me testing my dl speed.
Upgraded my version, still slow, then I realised my dl speed setting was limited capped. Changed it to unlimited and its zooming now !
