For those who did not eligible for Unifi speed upgrade, meaning TM ignored Najib's 2017 budget's aim for cheaper internet? Now 2018 budget just few hours left, and we still stuck with the same speed and same price before 2017 budget?

All you lucky folks being upgraded to 100Mbps for 189.. I'm still fighting for mine.. TM saying my place is limited to 30 Mbps only cuz high floor.. bla bla.. I say, come upgrade to full fiber la.. We are paying customers.. Giving bs excuses.. Really can't wait for TIME to move in.. gonna pitch.
*
Same here, stuck at 30Mbps because stay in condo. Those "Thank you surprise" also no speed upgrade. bangwall.gif

Bro you are not alone, me also no luck. Actually planned to go TMpoint today but due to busy with work in the morning so the plan was scrapped, but i managed to call 100 again and this time CS help me creating a report to their upper level for the request, i don't know this is BS or not but no choice just trust what he said at the moment.
*
If no speed upgrade, at least discount on monthly bill I will be happy also.

jaring was my time, i start using it on yr1996 biggrin.gif have to pay telekom 90 cents and jaring 60 cents or vise versa, total 1.50/hour if not mistaken

streamyx start from 384Kbps@RM88 on yr2001
dont have official 1M, and secretly get update to 768Kbps then 1.5Mbps, in the end 1Mbps package officially came out..
*
I started using Jaring since 28.8Kbps era, was using USRobotics external modem, playing Diablo with this dial-up internet, monthly telephone bill RM200+
I still keep my external USRobotics 33.6Kbps modem with me until now (an upgrade from 28.8K) laugh.gif

Hi all,

How do you guys negotiate with TM regarding current offer?

I can't seems to find any official brochure or a prove to convince them that I am paying more than many other subscribers.

Currently paying 179.00 (bill amount 187.75) for 30Mbps plan and HyppTV Ruby pack only.
I have the DECT phone, but no free call.

What if I go to TM Point and the they challenge me back by asking...
"where got cheaper offer?"
"where got Jumbo pack?"
"where got free calls?"
"who told you all these?"

Because I stay in a condo, does that mean 30Mbps is the max. I can get?
If speed upgrade is impossible for me, what else can I ask for?

Thank you all in advanced. notworthy.gif

Just terminate it and re-apply with new name (mean other than current unifi application name).
thumbup.gif  Still able to get RM139+20 (ST20 if you want free 600 minutes call time). still cheaper than you package!
*

I see, many thanks!
But where can I find this RM139.00 package info? tongue.gif
Unifi official site stated RM199 for 30Mbps package. sad.gif

To nego, you can go to another TM Point or call 100 to scream politely at em.. As for max speed? I'm in the same boat, they say I can't get more than 30Mbps cuz high floor bla blah.. Been bugging them to come upgrade the infra and for now offer the cheaper price of 139 for 30Mbps pending hardware upgrade (if ever).. Looks like mostly in this thread, those who get 100Mbps are landed props.. Anyone getting 100Mbps in a condo? Pls confirm.. Thanks.
*

Scream politely is the hardest part. laugh.gif
I better go to TM Point one day and see what I will get.
Thank you for sharing your experience. thumbsup.gif

Not going to be easy.. It's alright to lose your cool occasionally. Just don't end up on YouTube or in the papers.  laugh.gif Remember that the fellas at the desk are just frontline staff, there are bosses behind.. Need to make your case climb up the chain to the guys who'll okay what you want.. Be gentle and savage at the same time.. TM has many other waterfishes in the market to cover the funds they "lose" from you.  nod.gif

Alright, thanks! I will try, but I have high enough EQ so that should not be a problem meeting them. biggrin.gif

Hey guys wta how come i have this problem? I have already tried on 2 phones both will encounter same problem, the problem is some pages and website will get error "This page isn't working"???

I don't get his problem on my laptop. Only happens on my phones. I have unifi 30mbps plan. Need advice. Already restart everything.
*
I prepared someone might call me an idiot blush.gif , but you can try disable your IPv6 and visit the site again.
At least disable IPv6 solved this similar problem for me.

I also don't know why, and I will be very happy if someone could tell me the culprit. hmm.gif

My primary PC at home was having this issue, while my second PC (also at home, under same network) did not.
My phone and family members' phone did not have this issue.

Example: All browser cannot display this site (as an example) -> http://www.mi.com/my/ from this PC if I enable IPv6.
Other device have no problem with it.
Disabling IPv6 and the problem is gone immediately.

No harm give it a try. smile.gif

Quite a number of websites. Example lowyat net when i am going through thread by thread is ok but if i want to reply someone in the comment section will get the message "this page isn't working". Other websites like samsung malaysia and eurosports also will get this error when trying to view things there.
How do i do this on my phone bro, can give me a step by step guide??? Only my phone have this problem laptop is ok.

I agreed as SilentVampire suggested, you can do it in router, just temporary, if no different, then you can re-enable it without any harm.

QUOTE(voncrane @ Jan 12 2018, 01:04 PM)
Hmm, no issues with those websites.. IMO, I don't think it's an ipv6 specific problem cuz ipv6 is working on my end (stock router with Aussie firmware) and since it's only a particular phone giving the issue. That be the culprit. You running an anti-virus or firewall capable software on the phone? Disable those first as they could be blocking those urls unintentionally. Had a similar issue but with just "mail.yahoo.com" on a home pc only, yahoo and other related pages worked, just the mail section. Turns out, it was Bitdefender's website filtering firewall that was blocking access to the site. Disabled that feature and page loads instantly.. Bitdefender later issued an update that fixed the bug.
*

Hi voncrane, that's why I said this issue so strange.
I even tried uninstall security software from my PC. laugh.gif
Don't get me wrong, I am not blaming IPv6, I am also curious to know why. hmm.gif
Only happened in certain device, and I believed my particular PC have something wrong, and too painful to reformat my PC to start fresh. tongue.gif

QUOTE(JustcallmeLarry @ Jan 12 2018, 01:53 PM)
Sorry noob here, actually what is that ipv6 for? I google it but i just can't understand is it important or what?
To be exact it is 2 different phones a cheap samsung and a xiomi phone that will have this error. My laptop and my old iphone 5 do not have this problem loading sites...
No i did not install any antivirus as i just got this xiomi phone recently and just only install 2-3 apps. Already factory reset the phone but still same problem...
So what do i do now? Kinda frustrating can't make use of the 30mbps on my phone..
*

I know, only certain devices have this issue, I have spent a long and tedious time to figure this out.
Since I don't know the exact cause and since disabling my IPv6 works, so I just do it until I found out the root cause. smile.gif
