after changing to 100mbps, it seems like only LATEST phone can use the 100mbps. the others all still stuck at maximum 50mbps; and that also if the speed can reach that high 50.

I am using d850 ( my own, v1) happily without much problem, however after the thank you upgrade tm gave me c1200. For the 1st time my 3 storey house got full wifi signal all over the hiuse as opposed patched here and there.

However, with c1200 speed really slow. Only got 100mbps at restart, then become worse..there after. With d850, speed remains constant and no restart required. But some part of the hiuse only 1-2bar, and speed also slow.

So now thinking of getting another router that combine both (speed and coverage). Any suggestions? Looking at d868? Is it worth it? My household has about 10 devices and nearly all stream hd content. Got nas connected to usb of the router.

My Unifi connection keeps disconnecting and connecting with very slow speed. Any of you experiencing this issue?
I'm staying in PJ btw, which never happened before. 
It's been like that for a couple of days.

Called in yesterday to complain, and called today again.
Then say technician will call me to check my modem. (Which I don't think is the issue)

My solutions to this is to change the router. I reuse my D850, and all the website fast again.  Downsides is that on areas in my house got low wifi coverage and speed slows down considerably (similar to pre thank you surprise). Area with good coverage always consisten 85-100.

Thinking of c3150 since serious security issue on D850. However, bad experience with c1200 means thats why I a bit wary on on tp-link product.

Surprisingly they still give me the new router. Said that this is their procedure. Cuz I already using the latest router, so they did not change for me. Ask me to keep it.
But unifi platform still haven't update package, shall wait tmr.

just curious...i am using dual antennas ac1200 which was provided when they installed 30Mbps in feb...
then after upgrading from 30 > 50 > 100Mbps...tm didn't change my dual antennas ac1200

will they change the router to this 3-antenna ac1200 for me if i request ?

something weird i noticed on my 100Mbps

i restart router and few days without torrent, the speed can maintain at 100Mbps when i run speedtest
if i restart router and torrent, the speed drop to 60Mbps after one day... never can back to 100Mbps, then i restart router again it back to 100Mbps 

i have repeated test the above scenario, only happen when i torrent... i try different torrent client, same problem 
i try direct download for few days, big files at least 10GB+ for few times, no issue at all

in fact i am not heavily using torrent, just leave few seed.. i tried with different router, the C1200 provided by TM and my own Asus router, same problem

11am    - Random speedtest on phone and found out speed already upgraded. Hypptv also became Jumbo
1.30pm - Contractor came and just change my router to C1200 with minimal configuration on router only. BTU remain same Huawi hg8240w.
The max DL speed only 95-96mbps after few speedtest via LAN. The contractor said he can't do anything, ask me to call TM complain.

After few rounds of testing on my own, C1200 really unstable so I use back my own Archer C5 which much more better.

But still I can't hit 100mbps via LAN. Is this normal? Can I complain to TM to ask for speed cap increase to 105mbps so I can get 100mbps?

Hahaha.. Make your wireless password encryption levels at least WPA2 and if your router supports it...WPA2/WPA Mixed Mode is quite strong. Won't keep a dedicated hacker out but more than enough to keep the average script kiddie/neighbors out.. Of course, if you go set password as "abc12345" or some weak password like that..you deserve to get piggybacked.

Im using same modem with you but router of C1200 instead.
I can never get full speed by connecting 2.4ghz, but 5 Ghz always no problem.
Our modem confirmed it's GE port.
I also have no idea why 2.4ghz cannot reach,
even TM technician telling that it cannot reach, ask me to connect 5 ghz instead if possible.
