1k clocking in and may I know any engine oil you recommend? Should I upgrade or use the default by sc?

Just went for first service. Not very happy right now. The service staff at the counter told me that i have free 5 years service. Ok. Good. Then she say the free service only eligible for semi synthetic oil. Ok. Good. Now here comes the nt very happy part.

She told me if i would like to upgrade to fully synthetic. I say its ok and i would stick to the free semi synthetic. Then she say ur next service would be 10,000 km or 6 months. But semi synthetic only can last the most 5,000 km. If there is any problem in ur car if u travel more than 5,000 km, then its ur fault. What!!!

Is she threatening me to upgrade?? What u all think?? On the other hand, if proton knows the semi synthetic cant handle till 10,000 km, why implement it as free service? And charge customer by upgrading to fully synthetic?? Some of u will say come on, only add a few ringgit... What the fuss!! But..if there are customer that are nt well to do as myself who depends on the free service, then this makes me wry whether that semi synthetic oil is sufficient or nt..

how do you enable follow me home light?

at an incline, i put my car on N, my car rolls back. isnt there hill hold assist?

can i flash high beam? cant seem to do that. pull back the left stick it's either turn on or turn off high beam.

Thanks. After checking the manual. It seems we have to turn off the engine and turn on the light. It will then on for 30 seconds. Check owners manual page 88 bottom mid.
Noted with thanks. No reason for me to turn it off. Seems silly to illuminate the button with the word off in it though.

A SERIOUS QUESTION.

I would like to have the members opinion regarding the dilemma I'm facing now.

I'm currently owning 2014 Toyota Altis 1.8G (no monthly commitment).

What do you say, is it a wise choice, if I let go of Altis, and get myself a 2017 Proton Persona Premium?

Safety wise, Persona tops Altis at reasonable price.

1.6L is enough for me. Main reason being is that I feel like paying more for things that i don't need.

So, enlighten me with your thoughts regarding my Dilemma.

I don't think i have activate more than 10 times in my 3mth old car

The front parking sensors are literally not very sensitive, are yours like that too? In fact the rear parking sensors are not very sensitive either, very slow to pick up obstacles... 

how can it be ? Not functioning at all?
