You elaborated the point much better than I did. My point was assuming both vehicles are travelling at the same speed during the head on crash(around 40-50mph) then the small car will be damaged worse than the bus because the bus has much more momentum due to heavier mass. Judging by the severity of the damage though the bus might be going faster than the Persona.

If the same thing happened with a similar sized car or a bit bigger the Persona would do a lot better. Feel free to correct me.
*
yes you r right, bigger car always have advantage in the head on crash.

Speed matters. In theory, kinetic energy  = 0.5 x mass x velocity x velocity ,  so the speed is the deciding factor, not the weight or size.

Most people thought getting NCAP safety 5-star rating means it's a safe car to drive at hight speed. But they didn't know the fact that both Euro and ASEAN NCAP only use 64 km/h in their front collision crash test on a "static" wall. It doesn't apply on a head-on collision like this (unless both were driven at a slow speed of 30 km/h, which were unlikely).

Mass is also a big part of your equation in kinetic energy. If not, raindrops would have killed us all.

There's also dissipation and absorption of energy in a crash. Every vehicle is different in this respect. A larger vehicle has more area to spread this energy.

That's true. Mass is another important factor. But in real life, we can't control the mass and body structure of our cars while driving, but we CAN control our speed.

Actually what I'm trying to say is that all those safety features and technology only served as the "last resort". Many people rely too much on the safety features instead of improving their defensive driving skills and attitude.

It's hard to get below 3% interest for national make car, lowest I heard is around 2.8% and that's from Kuwait Finance Bank, currently i don't think they offer that kind of interest anymore even if they do, the waiting line are quite long 2/3 months to process. If I were you I'll go with grey, less headache when it's raining, when dirty not that visible if white, every weeks need to wash spend more $$ too.

Lowest that i ever heard is from KFH as mentioned above.
Other banks that can give low interest that I know is Affin & BSN (3.18% & 3.15%) for 9 years, 90% loan.

For colour, take gray or silver. white is nice, but to maintain that nice color is pretty hard.

Overall i'm quite satisfied la the noise is 95% is gone, only when going to really uneven bad road there is little noise but overall good rclxms.gif . What is pissing me off is that the carelessness of the Mutiara Damansara SC, my car periodic inspection popup is still showing. I already mention to the SA they said no problem and all, it's annoying to get this notification. Another one, they broke my phone holder vmad.gif, got home and notice it was broke this SC omg.

Nope, it will not void your warranty. Its fine to exceed more than 100 to 200 km from 1k. Actually in your warranty booklet it mentioned can exceed maximum 500km smile.gif

I got a SA from Selangor, which offer me 3.5k discount or 2k discount + 5 yrs free service.
