Emo. Going to first service soon.

Wanna highlight two things to them.

- water sprinkler too low position. Top part of wiper is wiping dry.
- gears hard to shift in. Clutch already stepped all the way in as i clutch in, then shift into same gear twice without releasing clutch, second attempt is always smoother than first.

Will they look into these during first service or we need to go on mon - fri?

Hoho you guessed right. smile.gif

Sprinkler too low is useless if bird shit landed on the top part of your windscreen. Huhu

Yea wei. Every time go out for lunch, car feels like oven. Somehow aircond not as powerful as saga blm also. No visor, cannot leave a small gap at the windows. Windscreen larger i think, so my previous sunshade (the type that can fold up) cannot sit nicely.

Done servicing.. Really good service at Senaxis, not really big place but at least staff are friendly.. Can walk to LRT station and go elsewhere if lazy wait at Service center..

Water sprinkler position now nice nice
Added cabin filter (RM25)
Mentioned to them throttle response lag.. Remapped and now faster d. Easier to drive.
Gears is standard apparently.. no issues there (means driver issue lol)

Remapped? Free??

QUOTE(littlegamer @ Mar 18 2018, 10:42 AM)
interested as well

They took a laptop to the car. Now throttle response is slightly faster (as mine is really lagging. Even the foreman say it's a little slow).

Is that consider remap?

Edit: forgot answer the question, yea i wasn't charged. Only charged for gasket oil drain, oil filter, engine oil and cabin filter.

i think that is a remap, normally they need some software to read some "graphs", i think they indeed remapped your ecu.
*
Haha okok i sked i use wrong term. The process pretty quick though. Less than 5 mins with the laptop. I don't feel comfortable to keep staring at the person while he work so i just patiently wait lo

QUOTE(fantasy1989 @ Mar 18 2018, 09:54 PM)

Thanks for the feedback. Definitely will ask Senaxis to get it fix for me in the next service la.  biggrin.gif
I would says it is very wobbly la. Even 120km/h already feel like that. If lorry or bus which is overtake you, you definitely feel the car being "suck-in". After I lowered and changed to a wider tyres, no longer have such feel liao.
*
It's still not as fast as cable ya, just not so lag now. Haha.

But that place good. Will continue support them. smile.gif

Yeah i totally aware on the E-Throttle... I just want to reduce the lag. Hehehe.
Senaxis is very good just that they only have 4 bays to work with hence the speed will be slow compare with big SC la.
*
Yeap i placed my car for almost 4 hrs there. But on the bright side, can walkover to kelana jaya lrt station then take lrt go other place to kill time

Btw, my SA gave me a 12V charger previously. Free gift. Today i tried to slot it in, it works but now it's stuck. I can't remove it nor turn it. Oh god

Send back to service center? But i scared they dun accept this case on Saturday.

Perhaps u wanna to put some WD40 then pull it out?

I suspect the spring in the charger is smaller than the hole in the port. Once inside and expanded, it just refuse to budge d. Not sure bad design with the charger or with the port. So far no hear people complain, means the issue is with me d lol.

after turn off and start car becomes okay liao. luckily this happened when i was trying to park my car, not when the car is moving or something
*
Btw, for brevity, yours is cvt or manual?

I have not encountered such thing le. But if it occurs again or if you can simulate this again, can highlight to SC.

Otherwise for peace of mind, can bring over to SC for inspection but if scenario cannot be reproduced, i doubt SC would be able to get much findings

I've got a question for those who drove pre-2017 update Iriz MT version before. Comparing against Persona MT, does the Iriz's clutch feels a little more springy while Persona's feels a little spongy?

I test drove my friend's Iriz 2016 today, it felt as if my clutch is softer.. How should I describe this? I guess it's easier to for our left leg during jam as it takes lesser effort to push the clutch in and lesser effort to hold the clutch at bite point as well.

For the H-fork portion, it seems that my friend's Iriz is smoother along the passage way until the end, where there's quite some resistance and at the end it will pop inside. So you get a clear feel of the gear is fully engaged.

On the other hand, the persona gear stick feel some not so smooth resistance along the passageway and when reach the end, there is no indication (of feeling) that I've reached the end. I slipped my reverse gear a few times initially because I wasn't aware that I didn't fully slot the gear into the reverse gear.

I don't think they do remap. They only can do reset or reflash only.   stop at traffic press little throttle the car instantly move?  hmm.gif

I did mine at senaxis too.

To be honest, i dunno if it's remap or not, but i saw them bringing a laptop with cables to the car. Maybe it could be as you say, reset or update ECU. I didn't wanna get too close to the foreman. Sked make him feel uncomfortable.

But my previous delay was about 1-1.5s and now it's less than 1s. which is now an acceptable range for me. It is not immediate but at least it's not super bad. The previous delay makes driving really difficult. Traffic light time, the lead car sure leave a huge gap when green light. Now easier to catch up.

Btw, I'm on Michelin PS3 195/55R15. At first feel not much difference (since i was stuck in jam the entire time and it's not raining) but ytd i took it for highway ride, can really feel the car grip the floor. Only thing is persona vvt too tall, the body roll quite noticeable on corners. More noticeable compared to my old blm. That being said, it still handles better than my blm and lesser nvh

Edit: previous delay make driving manual so difficult, esp when on slope, and i wanna feed the car some gas before lifting clutch, but dunno when the gas will come. Now at least can manage that.
