Hi

i currently using astro iptv service, during subscription, i got tied to 2 years contract. now, i am moving in to new home, which is currently did not have iptv coverage (the unifi infra havent come in yet). when i call astro, they say need to downgrade to astro beyond, but the problem is they consider i terminate the iptv service before due time, so i have to pay penalti. wadafakk.
i know arguing with the customer service will not do anything except raising my blood, so want to ask, how to deal with this? my contract due on april 2018, and i have to pay 800 penalti if i move out this month.

that's not what i meant.

with the streamyx available, you'd still be able to use the iptv right?

later when the unifi's become available you can upgrade to unifi at no extra fee.

ok my bad. i thought it's just the astro streaming service. they also bundled the internet as well.

maybe you can file a complaint to MCMC? at least to waive you of the cancellation fees.

MCMC won't help you at all, as it's not related to them

this is based on contract, all T&C already printed clearly black & white

IMO there's no escape in paying the early termination fee if u wanna cancel it

either you pay the early termination fee, or just continue it with few more months down the road, cross your fingers and pray the unifi at your new place is ready ASAP then apply for relocation without paying the penalty.
