Modified?not sure coz when they introduce kits in mags, they r normally in white color coz only use white/greyish/off white pallet for sample purposes...
Dunno why but tat's a normal practice...
Maybe Taiko Vincc can give us comment bout tat since u r a pro notworthy.gif

Added on August 10, 2007, 8:00 amCheck out this super huge SD  brows.gif
Dun like d color but will look nice when it's painted properly  drool.gif
The size is like bigger than 1/144 n almost 1/100 judging by the Gundam Stand...
The site says tat its *** No. 74, maybe BB No. 74...Strider, do u want one?hehe  brows.gif
Check this site out for more pics http://www.geocities.jp/lifezoids/SD-0074.htm

It should be a combination kits from different numbers......
Well, surely not no.74 as no.74 is just a small kit......
I will post that photo in other forum n ask those pro and see......

I remember Grafitti has 2 types of SD Gundam selling at RM99..
one is Victory Dai Shougun, d phoenix one n the other is a no. 109 if i've not mistaken, with d looks of the upcoming GFF Musha RX78-2 but more of Black in color...i mean black armor....
*
Wow......
Cant afford those expensive stuff since there will be a lot of re-issue next month.....
Better wait for re-issue then get from Rainbowten.....
Much much cheaper in this way.......

hitsu.....that bb pic u posted..........ugly..........definitely needs paint job.
*
Need a lot of paint job not equal to ugly.....
So, dont criticize using those extreme words when people post out the picture and in fact that isnt that ugly......
And is quite nice, just that u need to paint a lot, so that is not ugly......
We are encouraging people to post more photos here and criticize until so extreme......
Then without photo, hows the discussion going to move on, right?

this is my way of modifing...no harm k? icon_rolleyes.gif

lets start from the leg...can fill the whole with epoxy putty then put a piece plaplate over

body.....sand away the part i circle then use epovy putty or bend pla plate then only fill the holes with putty

skirt can scratch build itself lah..don need explain

head...remove the v-fin...then scratch build too!!also easy de....cause only 2 piece join then fill apwith putty

the mouth fil with putty...

shoulder...aiyo......for easier way....i guess a piece of plaplate stick le..then at top also same...try not to make  3 angles de...

the pic on the right is 3angles..can see?and thats how the shoulder is...so try to make it to 2 angle^^

cheers

Is nice to share ur experience and technique here.......
Although someone might want to move this modding thread, but I think we should keep it here.
1st, this is about BB gundam,
2nd, if we move to modding thread, we have to start over the discussion again......

For the head part, ya, we can scratch build two pieces of plate and stick together, but what about thwo pieces near the ear area?
Then for the armor, how to make it to be sharp?
Just sanding and putty?
And shoulder, I dont is that simple......
I believe he use the 1/144 to put on that BB........

you have a point there..mine 1/144 akasuki and the sd strike aga aga same same...cut cut join join??
*
I thought most people just using 1/144 Akatsuki shoulder to be put onto SD Strike......
But got one guy a bit difference, he used strike noir as the base for him to mod to Akatsuki.......
But I dont know why, never really make study onto strike noir........

what's the cheapest price that we can get for SD in KL?

My first SD (Blitz) bought from TM for RM24. Yesterday i bought SD Verde Buster in JJ for RM21.52. Cheap huh?
*
The normal price should be around RM20-25, depends on your luck. smile.gif
And JJ are doing megasales now, so all its items are on 20% discount.
But is still cheap for JJ to sell new verde buster at original RM26.90.
You are a lucky man.

where can find SD for RM10? share share with us...  smile.gif

moral of the story : Buy SD from those departmental stores during sales as it is cheaper than toy shops but limited models. Don't buy HG/MG/PG from departmental stores at all coz toy shops is cheaper (but MJ 30% discount sometimes cheaper than toy shops for certain model).

i'm going to visit Parkson at Subang Parade and see what they have for me.
*
But what I see here is JJ also provide quite cheap HG, but just certain model la......
Anyway, MG still very expensive......
Good advice, anyway.......
Can keep the info in mind when you are buying SD/HG/MG/PG.

Modified?nope...tat's Shibai Sazabi aka Sima Yin of Three Kingdoms  laugh.gif n think tat's d assembled version without paintings....  drool.gif

Hokuan, u din update the current BB series huh?
Like Sima Yin which used design from Sazabi....Liu Bei is from RZ78-2, Guan Yu = ZZ n Zhang Fei = Zeta while Lu Bu's Tallgeese III (judging from d head), Zhao Yun from V2 etc  laugh.gif

Added on August 15, 2007, 6:44 am

That was the SD modded/scratch built by Kenta (correct rite?din quote his name for some time)...
Think Strider was talking bout a normal Hi Nu like those from Seed series  laugh.gif
*
Hahaha, seem like a lot of ppl start to get left out in BB gundam......
Anyway, the sazabi shown is assembled out of the box (is it the term what you guys call) without applying any paint on it. So, is not modified.

For the Hi-Nu, that is the mod version. I think hitsugayat shown me that before.
And the name, I believe is Keita, but still not sure. (You know la, I am not good memorise name and location tongue.gif )

Oh ya, is it possible everyone list down their collection list like my 1st page?
I update everytime i have new item.

striderozy,

why don't u open up a website dedicated to SD? kinda like dalong.net. You'll be our own dalong and we can make your website as the SD shrine  nod.gif  But make sure the reviews are all in English please.

I'm just starting to love SD.
*
I wish to have such a website too, which start with www.strider_ozy.net.......
Hahahaha.......
Any volunteer to help me create this website?
Seriously, I am purely a BB gundam collector, but for dalong.net and others, they are pro in gundam.
There is no way for me to fight with them.
My collection as for now, are mostly built out of box, no spraying, no modding.....
Although I start to learn up spraying skill......
Shame to tell that I took so many weeks just to do spraying on a sd strike and isn't finished yet. blush.gif

QUOTE(kent0412 @ Aug 15 2007, 01:27 PM)
this hv to ask board master.... hmm.gif
*
So, anyone can answer on this question regarding on the words limit for each post?
Anyway, anyone interested, can start to post up ur collection list or pm me.
Then I will add in to the 1st post or any post (then put a link direct to that post), so that everytime anyone want to buy any BB gundam and feel unsure how it looks like, they can always refer to the list and check the model 1st.
Shouldnt that be a great idea? smile.gif
