I always tot that rogue will do very good in 5v5 because u can stunt lock and such, and the OP warlock is actually 2nd from last. Hmmm... anyway I got this data from WOW forum, my ideal pvp team will be=

Warrior
Pally
Shammy
Warlock
Rogue

too bad my main is mage/priest... so I /kick myself and am gonna reroll one of em in new server tongue.gif

Don't see why not.

Silence, intimidating shout, revenge stun, concussion blow, spell reflect, hamstring, intercept, intervene and the lol there's a warrior with a shield in here factor.

Just before i crit for 2k on cloth with my shield slam.

Too bad i don't pvp much these days tongue.gif

hmm... but most of the experience team will just leave u alone meaning you gotta hit to get rage, and the most gay part is when they bop and power word the targets you're attacking leaving you starving for rage. by the time you done switching targets, i believe your team is already dead sweat.gif

I was just trying to show that prot warriors are viable for pvp... not imba - just viable.

And power word shield has a 50% chance to be dispelled by shield slam, after which it hits for full damage. For only 17 rage which is not that difficult to get. With focused rage, a prot warrior has a lot of cheap attacks which can disrupt the opposing teams healing. And that's the person i'm going for at the start - the healers.

Actually, I would think that priests are more viable in 5v5 arena BGs than rogues. Each 5v5 team will need both priest AND pally in it. A priest and pally can work well together to use an offensive dispel strategy as well as defensive dispel and cross dispel (dispelling each other if one of them is charmed, sheeped or cc-ed by some other form of dispelleable magic).

yea but still a ms warr that 2-3 shot people is better. not to say prot sucks, just that ms is better.

and as far as priest arena viability goes, rogue > priest. priest's arena viability is in fact, the lowest amongst all 9 classes, somemore you pit it against a rogue? which can take out people in mere seconds? provide ms style debuff? crippling? stun locking? 3-5k mutilate spamming on the priest i see how viable he can do while at the same time, being stunned brows.gif

not really about l2pvp with prot, its just how prot works in pvp.

but ur right on ab/wsg (or even EOTS)
prot warriors makes the best steady flag carriers should you be facing tough opponents where sneaking/rushing flags out with rogues/druids/mage etc are not working

i agree after having much frustrations with teams having pallies in their team during this week's hardcore arena

we still did decently... played some close to 70 games 3v3, and 20ish games 5v5 and 10ish 2v2

2v2 and 3v3 close to 1.7k rating while 5v5 1.5k...
hope to get some good AP's on tuesday ^^

Wow, Im really surprised that shaman percentage is higher than warlocks @@?!

Theres nothing we can do in arena except for spamming lightning bolts, shocks, heals and refreshing earth shields.

Most of this spells are nature based and once we are silenced or kicked. We are as good as a toasted cow.
