Hi... I saw the TM contractor connect a yellow cable to the box and do something at bottom, is it they are doing the interenet testing/tuning? On this step, is it mean the service will available very soon or might still need to do this steps for few times?

On 14/8, the contractor told me will available after 1 month, on 16/9, they told me will available in 2-3 weeks, now already 2 months since first month, but no any update yet. They jz fit the white box on the pole on last 2 saturday...

For those who still haven't solve the 0Mbps upload speed problems (AC1200 router + android phone users),
I upgraded to latest firmware from TP-link MY website,

Happy to say now the 0 upload speed problem totally eliminated  
no need to change MTU value.
some users suggested these before but i'm late to do the testing myself.

P/s: I thought fiber cable only got White and Yellow color ONLY, since when got Black color? (are you sure that's NOT VDSL cable?)

Haha, my mom wants to use it to call back to Penang to her mother, and my grandma often calls my hse to talk to they also subcribe to unifi. Ya HyppTV has other channels but i dont even watch it, just that my father uses it to watch the normal basic tv channels such as TV 7 or 8 when he comes home, and HyppTV's TV7/8 are clearer than the normal one, if I can somehow make the normal TV7/8 channels as clear as HyppTV, then maybe i will ask my mom to cancel HyppTV lol, but i wonder if TM will let me to cancel HyppTV as that is part of VIP 5 package.

If I subcribe for unifi lite 10mbps, and i want a STB, they still can allow one right? just need to pay more money during first month right since STB price is accounted in it?

hi, I got my unifi lite since october..so far so good..

the best thing is that TM gave my the hypptv top-box..so I could use both hypptv everywhere and also watch on tv

  not sure the difference between real hyptv and apps one..but i guess it's real hyptv bcoz i got the TM STB

the contractor said they just give me bcoz their system said so..so no complain from me

It won’t improve anything as GrynnRyder said, DNS just resolves hostname to IP, that’s all. Anyway, I still prefer Google DNS as the lack of a secondary DNS IP address is a worry, if it is down someday. This could be avoided if they have set up anycast properly, which looks like they did, but I would still prefer an alternative if possible. Google has two DNS IP address, which is better.

I using the DNS you provide, the ping is lesser, TQ  .  Now 7ms only.
