Any Garland owners? How's the build quality?
I passed by that day and saw a lot of owners already started to do renovation (I'm assuming that the defects have been rectified or not much defects?)

One of my friend contacted an agent and he mentioned that there'll be another semi-d project (phase 2??) under Emerald West being launched around June/July 2022. Not sure if this is true or the agent had been misinformed.

Yes even i asked the Guocoland sales person and they said there will new project launching. But seems to be double storey 20x70 and the selling price is more than 700k plus

Yes. Apparently my SA highlighted that the price for blooming is yet to be confirmed. I guess their marketing team is testing purchasers’ sentiments.

Hi I've booked a house in Blooming. The project seems promising, the price and layout also good. Nett price around 680k after offer.. but I'm actually not really familiar with Rawang area, this is my first house and I'm currently working in KL. I want to know the veterans here is the Emerald West neighborhood good? What is the racial disparities here? I'm a Malay btw, I don't mind living among Chinese community cuz I grew up in Subang Jaya but I want to know is the community like really hardcore Chinese like in Kepong Jinjang? iykwim 😅

Not jinjang but more like Desapark city vibes.

Are you family with small children? More houses being develop but few public schools around. Do consider this if you have kids.

I agree on the school part. They have allocated lands for school but yet to see any progress.

I see, thats good then. Nope no kids yet, probably in 7-8 years time that'll be a concern for us 😅 hopefully more facilities and development will be ready by then. Usually when and how will the state gov start building schools/public facilities? Does it based on demand or someone need to appeal for them? How reliable is Majlis Perbandaran Selayang?

Demographics wise it's mix. Nothing too extreme. As of MPS, I've seen better majlis than them in terms of ways of working.
