Discussion Underrated Football Players, They deserve to be mention...

This thread is dedicated to the underated football player... Their contribution and talent are huge but yet the recognition they got are less... Please give a shout to those underrated football player in you opinion...
Here's mine:
1. Steve Finnan: His contribution is always overshadowed by his teammates like Gerrard and Alonso...
2. Francesco Totti: 1 of the best footballer of the year and most probably the most loyal footballer today...
3. Guti: I wonder why he never got the call up into the Spain National Team cause he's good! Quite a consistent player for me...
4. Kolo Toure: A player with capabilities like the likes of Rio and Terry...
5. Sebastian Frey: Great goalkeeper... But never make it into the French squad...
6. David Bentley: McClaren should pick him ahead of SWP!!!!

Try asking Buffon or Cech to play behind the Madrid defense. |

How's Jose Reina? He's been one of the Liverpool's key to success last season. His consistency and communication with the defenders in front of him is superb. Although Finnan was the first to reach my mind, but noone gave Pepe Reina much credit before, he's our unsung hero in recent years.

ya, we know he's good........but we never notice him. and most people if watch a chelsea/ france match would never see him, and would give him a 6 just to give face. remember real kicked him out cause he aint flashy enough?
and we can never pin point his importance untill he doesnt play.
for a person who defined the DMF role, and IMO is one of the best MF's to come into existence. he is still relatively unknown compared to the greats.
