Why is midvalley bike parking bad? Parked there a few times. got gate and parking attendant. Parked there overnight before.
Finding the entrance is not easy if you havn't been there before. the entry point is not well marked. Its just below cititel hotel.
Just from what I've seen on YouTube, it looks worn down and cramped, not sure if it's any different these days. I normally avoid parking my bike among sea of kapchais, because kapchai riders don't give a shit about other bikes, I got a couple of paint chips on my bike last time I parked at another mall's parking, and mirrors often being out of position since people squeeze past bikes to reach their bike.
Not trying to be snobbish here but also the demographics of the riders matter a lot, if you park in a parking filled with educated office workers it's most likely better than a large mall where the visitors are of mixed profiles.
In fact in this thread itself Midvalley hasn't got the best of reviews:

I tried parking at midvalley bike parking before. At one time I was "stuck". Couldn't maneuver out as I have two side boxes.
So whenever I go to MV, I will just park outside of the bike parking, right before the palang. and give the jaga a few ringgit.
I almost got stuck in one utama before at the new wing bike parking. Had to gostan all the way out.

Believe you, one time managed to squeeze my BMW RT with 2 panniers in the basement parking after moving a few other kapchais.. lesson learned never bring the big bike into mall parking
Or if you must in Midvalley.. find the Midvalley Pondok polis (next to Maybank), in front got a bikes parking covered with plant pots and a chain at the entrance.. you can enter there to park your bike for a while ..
Maybe I should get a cheap kapchai just so I can have some peace of mind parking my bike at lrt station.
